Hey, come on people, do you think that she should have the album all finished now? That'd be a bit early, considering the release is in over a month.

I have a feeling that new composers will sort of be given the boot and all we'll get are the Kazuhitos and the DAIs of Ayu's composition-team.. after all this is crunch time. Perhaps this atmosphere will create one of the best Ayu albums of all-time. At least, I'd like to believe so. The end of recording each song is going to be such a momentous occasion.. I can't wait until Ayu notifies TeamAyu.. <3
I honestly think this could happen. Ayu busts her ass, I think, for herself but also for her fans. She wouldn't rush out anything. If she did, I doubt she'd let it come out if she thought it felt unfinished, rushed, or downright assy (although this is subjective, since, well, WHATEVER and P.SII were downright assy in my eyes).

Her team, I believe, are kind of like the pit crew at a race, able to do a quality job in an amazingly short amount of time. Mixing and such does take careful time and consideration, but I believe it can be done. Hell, Beyoncé churned out an album in two weeks. And it turned out retty good (if not a bit samey).

Ayu has seven songs (presumably two of which are interludes) to go. I think she and her team can get it done but fast and still retain quality. If not, I'll live, definitely (and I'm sure everyone else will, too).

Is anyone else hoping/thinking "CREA" on this one? I mean, for some of the lyrics she's really proud of, she might not find a suitable melody in time. Maybe for some songs she'll kinda make up a tune & then tweak and perfect it.

I mean, Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" album - and i'm serious here - was recorded in TWO WEEKS, partially cuz she wasn't having anyone else write alot of the music & lyrics (only the one guy, Glen Ballard, was doing the music with her). It's easy to make an album if you're inspired and can do it all yourself. And that album turned out great. So here's hoping ayu has that sort of inspiration and can churn out good stuff. I mean, "I am..." was such a great album... would be nice if we got another one. ^_^

I'll be honest here... while it's cool for her to compose some of the music, I don't think it's like essential for every album.

I have to wonder, also, if people would like some of her songs less if they weren't composed by her yet sounded the exact same. Say Will wasn't a CREA composition yet sounded the exact same.

If she does do some for this album, cool, but.... people sometimes act like anyone other than CREA producing any song is an absolute sin.

I don't care who composes them as long as I like them.

I loved songs like M, Evolution, Endless Sorrow, and Heartplace long before I ever knew Ayu had composed them.

but i wasn't keeping my hopes high back when it's still mini-album

I agree, I never knew who CREA was until I joined AHS.

About I am...~
That was the period where avex sort of 'realized' that Ayu was able to compose songs and they sort of just either 'let her do it' or they made her do it.. because from M all the way to like Voyage, it was ALL CREA singles. At least the majority.. right?

I wonder how that happened anyway..

^or ayu requested she wants to do it. but the company had stop letting her do so recently. that might explain why there's lesser and lesser CREA

I think lesser and lesser CREA is because of a 'lack of inspiration'~

I mean, if we got CREA song after CREA song, wouldn't you get sort of like, bored? I know it's a good thing, but.. I think too much of a good thing is.. probably not as pleasant as we might make it out to be..

^ I disagree. Making alot of CREA songs that are good would make me appreciate her music more, if the CREA songs were crap, then I would want her to stop using CREA.
