So, since the song is such a major part of me, my voice from back then gives off such a strong strong mental picture of who I was back then. Now that it's up to me to re-sing it as I am now, I'm finding it really difficult to do again.

In other words, because the song has always been so meaningful to her, she is finding it difficult to go and delve back into it. It is unclear whether she means that it is emotionally difficult to put herself back in the shoes of her 1999-self, or whether she means that it is artistically difficult to find a new way to sing the song while still honoring the original vocals. My guess is both.
Ahh~ I am so sorry about that. _ _);; orz
I see that I didn't read it correctly.. worked fast through it on my way to school.
Thanks so much for it~

As I thought~ I am no good~ LOL

Ayu does not know Chinese. She knows like xie xie and stuff, but most people who have gone to China / listened to Chinese people talk would know that..

She seems like she might've rewritten the lyrics in Chinese (the rest of them?) on her own... at least according to what she said here, and all of the "speaking" she does is based on phonetic memorization or w/e. She basically learns the sounds in Japanese / katakana and then regurgitates them while singing, and it sounds like Chinese..

At least that's what I gathered from watching the AT07 making with her reading the sheet with the Chinese lyrics in katakana..

^ Of course it makes sense!..lol =x

Like TH said ayu used katakana to facilitate herself in learning the prounciation of the chinese words, since she couldn't understand chinese words.

She had a sheet with the Chinese words in "Japanese sounds" so like..

"Wo ai ni" would be "をあいに".

It makes sense to people listening but not so much for Ayu since she uh, doesn't know Chinese.

Someone else...maybe chom-can? who had helped her with both foreign and japan version.

Because when it comes to chinese lyrics, someone has to write them, then pass to ayu and teach her how to pronounce each and every word. After that ayu will use katakana to help herself pronouce the chinese words. And probably the chinese version will be a translation of the orignal version and SO it shares the same meaning with original version, i think =)

In any kind of manner, I gripped my pencil and eraser,
Regardless of night or day, and everywhere,
And I fought with the Chinese lyrics.
I think she had a Japanese -> Chinese dictionary and chose phrases that fit best or something..

I mean she'd already done it with the chorus of Who... at AT07 so..

It should be.

The Hong Kong version is simultaneously being released so... maybe?

(And the Taiwan / China versions tend to come at the most a few days after..)

correct me if I'm wrong evolusean...
Well, actually what she says is that A COMPLETE ~All Singles~ will have a Japanese release and a Chinese release. She doesn't specifically say where the Chinese version of Who... will appear, but we can assume it will only be on the Chinese release, considering it was the mention of Who... (Chinese version) that made her say "That's right, there will be a Chinese release of A COMPLETE".

Did that make sense?

I don't know. I can't think straight; my head is still reeling from the rush of information that came about BoA's US debut today.
