This is the thread for those of us that actually LIKE the PVs that Kazu directs for Ayu!

He's directed Mirrorcle World, GREEN, Sparkle, and Lady Dynamite (and I think a couple other ones, but I can't remember right now ).

Which of these are your favorites, and is there a particular aspect of these PVs Kazu directs that you like?

For me, GREEN is my favorite, because of the cinematography and Ayu dancing with Midoring was unexpected, and I like Kazu's PVs because these particular PVs may not have an uber deep meaning, but they are still brilliant in cinematography and very colorful and eyecatching.

im never a hater of many things. im not a "lets destroy kazu" type.
hes made good pvs in my opinion (i liked GREEN, RULE, Lady Dynamite, Mirrorcle world). and photos too.
it just requires a specific taste. and sadly many people just dont have it. oh well
hes just interesting.

and i liked what u said about GREEN. i personally love it. its like a movie scene.

My favorite is Mirrorcle World, and it's one of her best PV's imo. It's so dramatic and the scenes are gorgeous. Ayu in the telephone booth is my favorite, like I said before, if she was just standing there looking "pretty" it would be boring. Her fierce/angry faces make me love it more.

I like his PVs well enough, sure they're not her BEST PVs, but she's had worse directors I think. Kazuyoshi HIMSELF is creepy, has anyone seen him in the makings? I'm gay and even I think he's way too creepy

I like the PV's he's made^^. Favorites are Sparkle and Lady Dynamite
Mirrorcle world is also pretty good but feels a bit empty IMO.

It's sad that he so disliked around here, even though he is a bit creepy as stated above lol xD

EDIT:Just had to say that Kazu showing what moves ayu should make in making of Sparkle must be the most AWSOME thing
ever xDDD lol, I actually think he did them better than ayu herself.

i love his creepiness. i call it spunk. it actually made me like him more.
at least hes not boring to work with. id rather have shimoko grinding on walls than a guy saying "okay, turn thhis way, now that way." so although im sure other directors arent borefests like that, shimoko is fun.

I mean Kazu is not that bad and some PVs made just for fun are ok imo

GREEN! It's one of my favourite Ayu PVs! MW is gorgrous and fierce, the scene in the phonebooth is an absolute masterpiece, one of the best things in any of Ayu's PVs!!

Sparkle is just... highly entertaining, wouldn't want another PV like it, but it's great still! Same with Lady Dynamite, it's awesome and adds more vareity. Both PVs work so well with the songs too!

Like somebody said, may not have the best plot or depth Endless Sorrow style, but they are really beautiful visually and really show a real specturm of Ayu's talents.

When I first saw it I loved it... and then was sad when it got dissed

I also like Mirrorcle World I thought it was beautiful and I thought 'diva' Ayu worked well in it!! My favourite part is at the end when Ayu gets into the car and she does that little smirk thing!!

Sparkle I liked the concept and it's just good for the lulz especially the making of

I don't always like his photography works, but I quite like most of the PVs he's directed.

I love Mirrorcle World (despite a lot of people disliking it so much), I LOVE LOVE LOVE GREEN (one of her most incredible PVs I think) and Lady Dynamite is really cool though nothing particularly grand. Sparkle is the only one that I don't ever watch really... I've seen it maybe ten times at the most.

He's...quite a character lol To be honest, there's something about his personality that...actually scares me lol Maybe it's just something as little as him being such a hyper-seeming person but something puts me off him lol But oh well, each person is different, I still like him as a director, not always as a photographer though.

I actually like Kazu as well. I just wish he had more resources (budget) for Sparkle. I like the concept. He makes good use of repetition (like the first red box scene in Sparkle) and it's very fashion-y. Although there was no real choreography in Sparkle, I think the way he captured Ayu move was very energetic. I also like Mirrorcle World. She seems to bring out a "fierce-ness" in Ayu. Love it or hate it. My favorite scene was the telephone box scene where it was really... Goddess like and Diva. For Lady Dynamite, my favorite scene is when Ayu enters the club with her dancers, and also the lollipop scene!

I've got a split opinion on his PV's
Lady Dynamite and Sparkle have to be my least favorite Ayu videos, but on the other hand I think GREEN has a good storyline even if it doesn't have the most depth.
I absolutly LOVE Mirrocle World, I cannot belive people don't like that PV, it's fierce! And frankly I think she looks great, especially with the trench coat and berette.

It's kind of like, if he does good, it's fantastic! but if he doesn't, everyone usually hates it (more or less anyway)

I actually like all of his pvs except Sparkle. I like Lady Dynamite too...I'm slowly getting used to the weird facial expressions. The pv as a whole communicates the energy of the song well though.

I don't think he's very good at direction, which is to say ayu's movements and such. But the cinematography, art direction, and editing in his videos are top-notch, GREEN in particular for art direction & cinematography and Sparkle in particular for editing. GREEN is honestly one of the best music videos I've ever seen EXCEPT for the movement. It's kind of frustrating. XD
