Stupid question about CD+DVD versions

Do the DVDs work on all players (i.e. are they region free?), or only Japanese ones?

No, its not all region.

You either have to get a all region DVD player or download VLC on you computer to play the DVD

Like everyone said they don't come region free. But with DVD Decripter you can easily make a region-free copy to play on your DVD Player.

I hacked my physical DVD player that's hooked up to my TV. There's a list online somewhere of sequences you can key in to unlock certain DVD players. It's kinda risky to do but if you do it absolutely perfectly, it's fine... I'll google it later today and see if I can find it.

^ This.

I think it was on AHN at some point, but yeah, there's a website where you can search up your DVD Player's model and it'll tell you exactly how to make it region 0, it's very useful
