Your Ideal Ayu Single Cover!

Since Ayu doesn't have very um...creative single covers nowadays and a lot of people don't seem to ABSOLUTELY LOVE EACH NEW RELEASE

, if you were a photographer in charge of her next single--what would your ideal/dream single cover be?

You don't need to make a Photoshop one, but if you were a famous photographer--how would you design it? What would she wear? Where would it take place? What would be the name of the single? Describe it!

If you had it your way, what would it look like?

I think I would want ayu to look natural (not overly photoshopped) maybe it could take place in her home so it could be more personal idk lol sorry for my lame idea XD

I don't care about the covers.. (miss)understood was THE fail. It simply can't become worse than that.

It would fit with the songs more or less. I mean, BLUE BIRD its a perfect example. There's not a blue bird on the cover, but bright colors and summerish feeling fits with the main song well in my opinion (even if I don't like BLUE BIRD so much lol) oh, and a really good font.
I wouldn't mind of photoshop, because everything its photoshopped nowadays lol.

I want to make a simple photo shoot. the title of the single should not literally reflect the cover, like koshka said. The cover for MOON/blossom is excellent. There is no picture of a moon or a blossoming flower, but a hint of moon light is shimmering on her back. The color is light and soft like a new born flower. Well, a typical flower anyway~ :>

I don't expect some picasso or monet but something nice would be a good occurence. Something that matches the song. But does not take the titles literally (how typical, no?).

And...if I ever wanted anything its covers of ayu embracing cultures and different periods of history (free & easy).

Or something dark and weird (like pvs for microphone, alterna, about you, step you)

Or something soft and surreal like walking proud

But anything is fine if it works for my eyes or is mildly artistic in a good way.

I would love ayu to embrace a light vkei style. Or oshare really. She doesn't have to go exist trace but something inspired I should say.

something that will be a teaser or 2 in line with the PV of the A-side

some artistes that I support like BREAKERZ & Anna Tsuchiya , what you see on their single covers , from the look to the choice of outfits will be exactly the same ones as what you will see in their PVs

this way at least people don't need to speculate how so & so PV will be like & all lol

that & also I don't like it when an artiste's being photoshopped over the top too

I pictured MOON / blossom to have a Voyage-ish cover... With her outside with nature... you know, where "MOON"s and "blossoms" actually are... but that's just me. *crossarms*

J/k I think the covers are nice, but that would've been really pretty... Maybe at night with ayu looking natural, having long hair and a kimono.. and no "ahiru-guchi" lol

I would the make-up natural basic colors, soft lip with a bit glossy, brown eyelashes and brown eyeliner, soft pink/orange cheeks.

Set: underwater, a closeup with all her hair drowning around her face. A tender and gentle smile with a innocent look in her eyes. Maybe her hand touching her face.
It have to look like she is embraces in a little conoon of happines and with no worries.

I think at the end of the day is all subjective... she's gonna come up with covers and people are gonna like them and hate them too... so I don't believe in an ideal single cover.

I don't expect her to do anything I've got in mind because that's all in my mind anyway and she can't read it xD That's why I would love to become a photographer and take beautiful ayu-photos

In terms of photographs, I like and enjoy simplistic pictures as well as fancy ones with lots of colours... I think I enjoy and like most of her single-covers, if not all of them O.O

the only thing i want in ayu's covers is, i want AYU's face in every covers. dont care what the photoshoot or photoshop could be as long as has Ayu in it

I just want to use the background in her home/apartment like Kuu's BEST ~second session~/BEST ~third universe~, but with a lot of different composition...

or maybe she's laying in the white bed wearing white wedding dress, with straight black brown hair (like in Startin' era) with some red flowers petals surrounding her...

sorry for my messy english anyway..

PS: I'll never want ayu to do fishlips T.T, a SMILE would be good...

It NEEDS to match the song or songs, it needs good art direction (preferably the use of meaningful colors although that is optional - it all just needs to go together), the photo needs to be natural and honest (sure retouch out blemishes but skin texture would be nice to keep), there needs to be a concept beyond just "pretty photo of ayu with text slapped on," there needs to be thought behind the font choice, and Ayu's face needs to match the song. Upbeat bubbly pop songs can have fishlips and big eyes, thoughtful sad songs can have calm frowny faces, et cetera. A single where the focus isn't on Ayu's face would be nice occasionally.

Endless sorrow would be perfect to me if the font was different. That's the closest she ever got to doing it exactly right, in my opinion.
