Why would you worship someone you don't know personally? It's one thing to admire a celebrity, and quite another to blindly hero-worship one. It's unhealthy, and can only lead to you and some freaks waiting in a back alley after her concert with a bottle of chloroform and some rope. She's a human being. I know there'll be some backlash for saying this, but I'm pretty sure there are a number of Japanese women who could do Ayu's job just as well. (I'm not going to say better--- that'd just be asking for it.) No, I'm not an Ayu hater. I like her music just as much as the next person, but that's all I'm really qualified to like since that's all I truly know about Ayu. Love her music, worship to it if you want, but don't fall in love with her image. And Gackt will never die.



P.S. I can't see how this could be taken as an attack on Ayu, but never say never, so I'd just like to say please, please, pretty, gorgeous please no one reply with a sermon on the awesomeness of Ayu.

I like ayumi very much but what all of you said is true. I think the only way Ayu would keep our spirit alive is if we were a friend or family member.Ayu cares about her fans and all but if you're not one of those two things don't bet on it.
