I wasn't all that impressed with the album, I found it mediocre at very best.

But I guess that's what happens when a high profile artist like her comes back from a long hiatus.

I dunno Kev, I thought the album was a little sleep-inducing than "wei wan cheng" per se. Then again, my opinion of it might change since I've not been listening to it for some time. But still, I thought it was pretty okay - the title track reminded me of Oni's "We can go" thanks to the choral vocals, and I do love "wo de ai". But I think her music has been decreasing in quality over the years, it all seems to be blurring together.

Everybody loves "Wo de ai", I guess I'll go listen to that track in particular a bit more, I found her previous set of new songs from 'The Moment' more appealing.

It's interesting how there's some uses of tribal influences in some of the tracks in this album, but not used it such a...effective way. :X

Track 1 was pretty cool though.

"ben" is a pretty cool song, the electronic rock is a refreshing twist from what she usually does. So I'll give brownie points to Yan Zi for that.

I'm happy for her. Though I don't really listen to chinese songs, I've seen some ads on her latest release and they feel pretty good.

You gotta admit she sings well in live performances and she doesn't need fanciful dressings to attract the audience; which pretty much proves her singing talent

I've been reading other articles and it says otherwise, it's like the case with Utada's "Single Collection" and fans saying how it sold 2 million on the first day.

The other articles actually says 1,500,000 copies were printed in China Mainland (those cheap ones), and 180,000 printed initially in Taiwan.
