RAINBOW Love

I dont see why people bash rainbow so bad.
It had amazing songs,
Sure, it may not be another I am... (like there will be another I am...)
but the theme, the pictures, the music, the work effort she put into the album is all commendable.

The booklet is to die for - i think those rainbow scarves are so awesome.
The music (like, minus heartplace?) is really calm and pretty, July 1st is my most favorite song ever, and HANABI was a killer. Over grew on me, theres this one synth in that song that hits me everytime.

Free & Easy was a masterpiece, and I was so happy to hear Real me, it's such a fun song. independent is a classic, and I really like "+" integrated into it, it has a stronger effect.

Just because it's not rock doesn't mean its the worst.
Stop bashing RAINBOW if you call yourself an ayumi fan - I for sure dont bash I am... (even though it is my least favorite album).

Also - I bought the RAINBOW DVD audio cd -- its amazing, it has rainbow, the song on it. The sound is much nicer too, you can hear things you previously couldnt =/. Its a nice buy.

I just wish I got some of those RAINBOW promo items!!!

yea RAINBOW was the first Ayu album I heard and i fell in LOVE with it! Especially Over. it's so original and unexpected, its just so emotional and beautiful. i thought the album was really cool coz its all so different and original. its an ayumi style all of its own. it shocked ppl, and some ppl didnt like it bcoz ayu's style was changing. and the cover design and booklet was the best yet i reckon. its colourful and beautiful. some ppl here are just way too judgemental. its a cool album, i reckon

RAINBOW is a great album. It was released around Christmas and I was quite surprised that the songs in it have kinda the "spirit" of Christmas inside, that feel I used to have around Christmas which I hadn't had in the past feel xmas but that I could actually feel it when listening to that album. I think the songs are overlooked when people comment on how bad the album is. Songs like "Dolls" when listened by the casual ear demading [SARCASM]ROCK and more ROCK and "I am.." like songs"[/SARCASM] fails to appreciate a very artistic and well worked song. Every time I listen to that song some weird images start to flash into my mind, that song obviously has a strong psychologic effect, it has an interesting combination of waltz with lots of interesting sounds like the tic-tac clock and the water drops. Obviously a lot of people just listen to that song like some boring slow ballad. I don't see how quality wise Dolls would be considered lesser than any other songs by ayumi, but people usually say it's just a filler. Close to you is a song that represents Xmas itself. I was a song made to be listened on December, to think about what are you expecting for this end of year, what will you expect for te year that is to come, it's a reflective song I really love it. Voyage is a classic, I know a lot of people complain about her vibrato and stuff, the song uses rich instruments and no one can deny that. Voyage is actually the only song my mother likes from ayu. That and SEASONS meaning that for her SEASONS and Voyage are very beautiful ballads so I can't really ee how Voyage can be considered an inferior song. I don't need to comment on the greatness of HANABI and Fre&Easy because everybody already knows it. The interludes are among one of the best from any other ayumi album, I don't see people commenting on the interludes of I am... even though it's her "GREATEST ALBUM EVA!!!111". independent and Heartplace carry the rock for those who demand it. And those songs are actually pretty good. In terms of pop Real me, "everywhere nowhere" and July 1st do a great job even if I'm not really into July 1st chorus (the rest of the song is perfect though). Over is among one of the best ayu ballads in my opinion I really love it.
And for last because I know it's probably one o the most hated songs EVA111!!!, WE WISH: I don't see why people find it sooo bad. I love the guitar solo it's fantastic, the back guitars are pretty good too but I don't think people pay any attention on such things =/ I don't see what makes the vocals in NEVER EVER much better than the ones in WE WISH, oh no but it is because NEVER EVER is in the "I am..." album and no one can argue its greatness...WHATEVER LOL
I am glad RAINBOW was not like "I am...", I am... was I am... a great album but no need for repetition, we don't need ayu to turn into "Do As Infinity" (Sorry I really like DAI but anyone can notice their formula got old) and keep on repeating her style over and over.

yes, RAINBOW is #2, but that doesn't mean I hate the album, I share as much passion with you guys about the album, I personally don't think it's her greatest, but it has some of my all-time favorite songs by her in it, like Real me, Heartplace, HANABI, and Free & Easy. I don't think Close to you, and Over were all that great, the album ballads all sounded the same to me, so in my mind RAINBOW is a great mini album. I'll continue to love it forever!

I like the RAINBOW album - it's good. I thought Ayu was trying some new things out with it, and some of it was quite good. My favourites from it are WE WISH, Real Me, HANABI, Heartplace, dolls, Voyage.

I love Rainbow, it has Rainbow and Heartplace! Those are two of my all time favourites. I think the best song on Rainbow is the title track, it's so cool... I'll be like driving in my car on the Island highway, signing at the top of my lungs with words that arent really words, they're like "alllallllallllaaalllla..."

I adore the RAINBOW album!
When I got the cd in my hand I had big regrets beacause I had heard so many saying that this album was really bad and boring. But when I had finished listening to the album I knew it was really great and it had very special and unique feeling added to it. It is one of my favourites of Ayu, and it is soo not her worst album!

Rainbow is one of my favorite albums! I listen to it the most at least. That and Loveppears. The both of them plague my cd player, I'm just worried that I'll play them till I cant use them anymore....so I've been listening to other cd's lately to give them a rest. I love "Over", "Heartplace", "We Wish", "Free & Easy", and "Real Me", they're my faves. and the interlude tracks are really good. Overall I like the whole album. The overall art (cover, back, and booklet) is magnificent, my favorite so far! So I too dont understand why ppl dislike it!

Rainbow was a pretty good album, even thought it wasn't one of my favorites. I will admit I hated it when people would bash the album. Voyage is definitely one of the best songs she's ever released in my opinion, and Over is beautiful.
