MY STORY #1 on weekly ORICON chart
OK...finally.....MY STORY was sold out 574,321 copies on the 1st week and it's #1....I think it's a bit too low

If this figure includes both versions (CD, CD+DVD) that means MY STORY is on track to sell around 1.5 million copies judging by previous 1st week sales of other albums (same as A Song for XX / 10% more than Memorial address).

Actually.. 500,000 + is A LOT.. it doesn't matter with population in Japan.. the sales are like America.. 500,000 IS considered a lot, but more than a million is much better.. and I'm happy to see how much that's been sold so far

^ ... these number are of course ONLY of the Japanese versions.. do keep in mind to count about 20% extra for the local overseas versions around the world....

Granted, it saddens me that they only count the Japan Version of the album, because i'm pretty sure many fans bought the overseas version. Well, it's practical because if they added them up, it would be over a million and it wouldn't be fair to the other artists.

Well, RAINBOW sold 650,000 first week...so I wouldn't say the figures are exactly impressive

Isn't it funny how ayu thinks that MY STORY is turning back into A Song for ××? And the sales figures seem to be about the same...
