Namie Amuro in the UK!

OK, so the title may mislead you a little. She's not actually in the UK, but there was an article in the January 26th copy of "The Times" a rather hefty Newspaper here (or at least i think it is o.O) but anyway.

Quote:
But the world of J-Pop never bargained for Namie Amuro, an obstinate beauty who has revealed that the music machine has a loophole. In the mid-1990s she was a classic idol: bigger in Japan than any Western star and creator of a teenage look that still dictates Tokyo fashions.

There's also a .PDF to check out, which is the scan of the actual article in full. I uploaded it to Yahoo Briefcase for you all

Wow! Thanks for the info! ^_^ I'm a big fan of Namie Amuro (though i only like her recent stuff).

The article it's very interesting.

Code:
She is even optimistic about a European tour.
I really doubt it, but that would be cool~!!

now that's something I wouldn't have expected. amazing, thanks a lot. The Times a good newspaper too. except i don't normally read it either (too much time and brain consuming)

this is her first interview with a non-japanese paper, it says. amazing.

Thanks for the link. I didn't imagine Amuro could reach UK press, but it's good that they were interested on her.
