Mikuni Shimokawa anyone?

Is it just me or is Mikuni Shimokawa REALLY underrated? Practically all her stuff are worth listening to and some are worth alot! Just look at the FULL METAL PANIC opening and ending themes(season 1 and season 2). Those songs are just AWESOME. I don't get how she's still not IN the mainstream popularity yet, i mean, she has the potential to succeed, and her voice is pretty unique compared to many mainstream jpop artists. Also, if you have seen the anime DRAGON DRIVE, you might have listened to her songs since she did the opening and ending theme to the series. Hmm, yeah i'm pretty much ranting but i want to recommend everyone to listen to some of Mikuni Shimokawa's music.

Oh and one good thing about her is that she writes and composes some of her songs.

Oh! The name Shimokawa Mikuni has the same importance for me as the name Hamasaki Ayumi! Actually Miku is the first japanese singer I heard. And her song tomorrow made me the fan of j-pop.

I like Mikuni's songs, clips and her personality very much!!!!!!!!!! She has my love with the same power as Ayu

I don't think she's underrated - she's just not so rich and popular as Ayu is.
My favourite song of Miku is Sore Ga Ai Deshyou from FMP?Fumoffu opening!!!
The best song of all times and nations as for me

And Miku, I think, has a great potential!

I loved her REPRISE album. I don't really know much about her but she's a good singer, and I really liked her more when she did a cover of [Eternal Wind] (Gundam F91), [Rinbu Revolution] (Revolutionary Girl Utena), [Cruel Angel Thesis] & [Soul Refrain] (Evangelion)! She did a great job, though her remakes will never be as amazing as the originals are...to me anyway. ^-^
