I would have thought more girls, but I guess it makes sense there's more male fans.

I alway thought it was about equal in males/ females ayu fans. Loads of female like ayu for the fashion / style and as for male . But of course everyone loves her lyrics and great songs too

Haha. I'm not suprised there's more male fans. But I remember reading Ayu caught alot of highschool girls' attension because of her lyrics or something. ^___^

I dont consider a person liking someone famous for their looks a fan i believe a fan is someone who appreciates the things that the person they admire do. Like, for Ayu, i think a good fan would be someone that buys her cds for the music, not for the covers, or takes the time to read lyrics rather than stare at galleries.

In that sense, i believe more girls.

Maybe there are less girls on the internet ... so they can't vote. I've noticed this ... but I think that there are more males among Ayumi's audience.

Actually at the concerts that I went to, the audience looked almost 50/50 with men and women. All of the people sitting around me on both nights of the concert were women.
