is ayu's crying for real?

i'm ayu's fans too but i don't mean to be rude. i wanna ask u guys, i'm sure that u already watch a lot of her concert & u saw that ayu usually cry while singing a song. the question is, is ayu cry for real cos' i think sometimes crying just a strategy to attract people around. ayu even maybe (sorry!) just act in front of camera so that her fans think that ayu is so sentimental. so what do u guys think?

I think when ayu cries most of the time it's for real...

usually it's at the end of her concert tour... and when you think about it, they have been working hard all year for this concert and now it's over... can be emotional for everyone... other times she cries I thinks it's because of the message of the song... like when she did TeddyBear/MemorialAddress back to back and kinda got a little teary (I believe this song was for her dad) so I think that her crying is real

well yeah i believe its real~ when i listen to them with my ear phones i can feel her emotion and makes me sad as well, and the lyrics so i can understand why she cries

i also think it's a strategy like when Ayu cries the camera focuses on her face lol

hrm, i've thought about this too...and i think ayumi is crying for real. based on what i've seen of her during my years of being a fan, she really seems emotional and like she would be the type to cry easily over such things. plus she is writing songs about her own experiences and i'm sure some of those have to invoke strong emotions when she sings them.

I agree.
She cries at the end of her concerts and she cries when a song has a special meaning to her, so I really hope her crying is for real.

It isn't easy to just "cry" on the spot purposely. She's also cried various other times, on regular tv, and also when she won the award for No way to say. She seems like someone who is more vulnerable to crying, so it isn't surprising that she cries so often. But of course, they focus on they crying on the dvd for strategy =)

Real.

Why the hell would she even cry to get attention? Crying does not get attention. it's normal to cry when you are ending your tour. Meaning separating from the people you work and such. And, she's a woman. Women cry, a lot. Even I cry when I see Ayu cry at the end of "Who...". It's not fake. It's human.

For the concerts, the crying is definitely "real" on-the-spot crying because it's usually the last day of the tour (for the DVD versions).

However, I have to admit that a couple of her crying performances made me question whether or not it was slightly staged.

REAL !!!!!

To be honest , ayu's voice isn't the best among all of those j-pop divas ..
but , something that makes her special is "she sings from the bottom of her heart !" that's why it's so touching ..
my mom cried when she listened to "END ROLL" (stadium tour 02) , eventhough she didn't understand the language at all !!

PS : she's not a good actress (pointing at "sinking moon") .. i don't think she can cry whenever she wants ..

I think all of it is real, a lot of work goes into making a concert and it can be emotional.. I didnt know she cried in ARENATOUR's walking proud.. HANABI episode 2 was the best PV she showed her emotions perfectly.

yep, i think walking proud this song should mean a lot to her, tts why she cried. if you read the lyrics, it's also quite emotional. im guessing the reason why she cried was cos it was too overwhelming..

i like it when she cries and den her eyes are full of tears.. it makes them look ULTRA big and makes her look so kawaii like an anime character!

I think she cries REAL, `cause, you know, she's Ayu, and Ayu is Ayu-very sentimental and sensitive person, ye-a, her songs do prove it! I don't think she cries only for PR! It's unfair for fans, for herself...

sad songs=crying

isn't it typical? I cry while hearing different sorrowful tunes or sad songs, no matter Ayu's or not.

if the songs are sang from the heart-why not to cry???

i thought it was real at first, but after seeing it every single concert and every single time she sings certain songs, i started to question it.

hmm, we're on totally different wavelengths . i guess maybe ayu does cry for real, but i wouldnt call that 'typical' to what i'm familiar with.
