i read someone compare ayu's pride lyrics to britney's lucky lyrics, so i thought i'd post both lyrics to compare...

hmm, i don't think pride reminds me at all of lucky... so just wanted to know what you guys think... are the pride lyrics like or remind you at all of lucky?

Pride describe ppl trying so hard to get famous (I guess)
while Lucky is telling how a life of a celeb is not much different with ordinary ppl (they both hurt, not always happy as they seen on tv)

I donno... Ayu's lyrics are definately more poetic and convey more hope and strenght while Britney's is more "it sucks to be a star" song.

they both has similiar themes, but Pride's lyrics are more questioning freedom while Lucky is basically saying how little freedom sucks.

I think that PRIDE is about two people (or perhaps more) trying to find a way in the world that is closed them out. So, it is in a sense about people trying to find a place in the world (e.g. becoming a star and gaining notoriety and the adoration of many people) while others are trying to find a place after having become a star.

LUCKY, on the other hand, is about finding such fame and being unhappy with the unforeseen consequences of fame.
