Is anyone here still trying to finish they're collection of ayu singles, albums, etc.? or did you just say "*#$^ i give up!"
How much more do you still have to collect?
As for me I'm not giving up until I find the 8cm singles, and kanariya [japanese version].

well my buget is unfortunately too small to buy all her stuff, but I sure will get it all in time ^^

even if it takes years, I will keep on collecting and as for now I will focus on the stuff I want really badly (like the missing RAINBOW poster, grrrr)

lol im kinda a late fan so im just TRYING to collect all her albums and most of her singles and some posters and magazines that's all~~ and all her concerts on DVD

but i'm not even half way to my goal yet...

You know what, all I have so far is RAINBOW and SEASONS single, and many downloaded songs which are on my iPod. I'm not going to make my life long goal to get all of Ayumi's merchandise. Just asking for A museum and Arena Tour 2005 is eating a hole in my dad's wallet. lol (He's not poor, it's just that he's nice enough to get other things for me this year for Christmas.) Things that are really rare to find, like her early singles and booklets and whatnot, I'm not going to have it end up as an I'm-not-resting-until-I-find-it-and-have-it goal.

I'd love to have her discography, but it'll take a long while. Right now I have all her original albums and a few singles. I want to at least get the other singles I'm missing (or at least the rare ones) and her remix albums. Luckily for me I love her remixes!

I only have all her albums but i bought all of them in 2 months only.....

I'm not crazy about buying her latest remix albums (mainly because they're not as good as the previous ones) but I do hope to collect all her singles (not the 3" ones). I'll wait it out since the Book-Off periodically gets Ayumi singles and the CD only sell for $3 while the CD+DVD sell for $7-11.

I already achieved all I wanted - all albums/singles(without the 8'' ones and withouth the remix singles)/remix albums/DVDs and some photobooks/posters/ayupans/goods.

At the moment I'm starting to fall in love with many more JPop artists (with Koda Kumi being the main one) and a lot of my money are gone to buy their albums/singles etc. so I don;t think buying the 8" singles (which I have the re-issues of) and remix singles (excerpts and "the other side") is essential to me.

I had to stop collecting because I went broke... but all I need are three singles (YOU, WHATEVER, and appears), the 8cm singles (especially since I found out my CD player can play them), and the first Ayu-trance. And then a few more DVDs, and I'm done.
And I only need about thirty more Ayupan too. Lol, in case you're wondering how I went broke.
When I got my CAROLS single, I stacked up all my CDs to see how many I had, and it was exactly four feet tall! But that was a year ago....

I'm not so worried about getting the entire collection as that is probably near impossible financially. I also don't think its practical to spend tons of money trying to complete an entire collection by one artist despite that Ayu is my favorite. As for now, I'll stick to buying only albums and singles. Album collection is complete and I only buy singles that contain really good content, are rare, or have amazing pictures.

Every now and then I find something I want, like wallscrolls, mags, and misc. CD's. I find a lot of cheap CD's in Seattle and got the first Trance CD for 3 dollars.. That CD was a must for me regardless of the price.

So yes, being a fan for only a year, I would say my collection is pretty good. All albums and a bunch of singles (including Japan versions of kanariya, AUDIENCE, Daybreak, and appears). I just want to buy a few more singles and I'l be happy
