Dead Threads
i have accidently bumped up old threads before (sorry!) and have been warned. But why cant old or "dead" threads be brought up again? It seems that sometimes, people also create new threads that are very similar to some older threads--and it looks like a waste of space. Also, if dead threads do have some interesting topics, why cant they be revived again?
 finally, how do you know if a thread is "officially" dead?
