how do you say "Namie"?
so...is it "Nah-mee" or "Nah-mee-eh"? well, I say "Nah-mee" when I know its "Nah-mee-eh" because...i dunno, I guess I like it like that...well, do you guys call her by her actual name? or the slang name we would call her because it looks like its pronounced that way in English?

It just wouldn't make sense to me to say "Na-mee" since I know her name IS "Na-mee-eh"....Now, if her name were actually spelled "Nami" then of course I'd pronounce it "Na-mee".

I call her "nah mee eh", b/c that's what I'm used to hearing her be called. XD Funny, I'm listening to her right now. WoWa's been growing on me. I didn't like it in the beginning, but I saw the PV on TV last night and now i've changed my mind.

heh, I've always known her name is pronounced "nah-mee-eh", but I'm used to the english pronounciation of everything, so it actually took me a while to say "nah-mee-eh", even though it's pronounced the same way in spanish as it's in japanese

I called her like nami from one piece....then I pronaunced the e at the end which was correct....I use to calll her like the pepole on her live tour all her is like" and here is the star of the show...is namie amuro!"

i think i'm one of the few who say "Nah-mee". I dont really eccentuate the "eh" sound like the Japanese do.

it took me forever before i realized that her name was really "na-mee-ay." i used to say just "na-mee," but now that i know better, i say it correctly.
