1. ALBUM DESIGN: RAINBOW , very collorfull (perfect theme), great angle (booklet) especially the photo where AYU lay down on the water with collorful fabric as the background!, bright.. just wonderfull!

runner up: MEMORIAL ADDRESS

2. SINGLE: NO WAY TO SAY, perfect! simple! lovely! shes look stunning! the pink coat together in black background shine her face! great composition (not to frontal).

runner up: FAIRYLAND (CD+DVD)

3. BEST VIDEO: CAROL, yes! again simple! but beautiful, the black and white, the concert hall, the lighting.. make simple video looks amazing!

the new single startin is great! but not so amazing, theres something wrong with the angle.. to many showing her feet, i do agree shes look so damn sexy, but the im looking for sexy but classier..

1. Album Graphic Design - Memorial address (I'm a sucker for gold, and even with the rainbow colored pages it still doesn't seem gaudy at all. VERY well done.)
Album Photography - RAINBOW (I would agree that this has the best graphic design if not for the very poor handling of text against rainbow colors)

2. Single Photography - Free & Easy. Very dynamic shots of ayu and the flag. Good angle, good lighting. (Tadashi Ura's painting effect on the cover almost detracts from the photo's overall mood.) Only complaint? the picture version of the CD wasn't done too well; you can tell ayu's photo was taken separately from the sky.
Single Graphic Design - For My Dear... Nice colors, i like the focus on lavender and silver... well-done logo treatment on the front. The photos were only so-so though
Single Effects & Art - Endless sorrow! Tadashi Ura's wing drawing inside it is just lovely, not to mention the layering of the 3 photos used on the front (ayu, the city, and the wing are all separate elements ^^)

3. PV Art Direction - M. Simply gorgeous. The use of white, gold, and black is just genius.
PV editing - ourselves... often seems like the only PV of ayu's where the cuts really go with the music, plus the cuts add to the overall urgent, crazy & frightening feel of the PV.

Album Design:
Rainbow: Really great effects; i like how Ayu looks non-human and mystical.
Memorial Address: Has an antique yet melancholy feeling.

Single:
&: Beautiful picture. The colors and the sun give a great summery feel.
Carols: Classic Ayu on the swing. Gorgeous background and effects.
Forgiveness: Ayu looks like a fairy! Nice dim lights and colors. Gives off a calm feeling.

PV Direction:
Real Me: Lots of graphic effects and costumes. The dancing part is very colorful and pretty.
Step You: Also has plenty of special effects. Has a mysterious air with the different Ayus and the strange guy in the armor.
Surreal: Very much like the title of the song, the PV is about uncertainty and is imaginative.

1. Album Graphic Design -
I really like the design of ayu-mi-x 5 non-stop mega mix!
Ayu just looking at you while holding her gigantic headset is stunning. The colors blend very well too, being all in brown tones, besides her lips being really pink and the top of the headset bluegreenish (while the pink is being reflected.)
I like to think that that pink color shining off of the soundwaves represents ayu's voice, meaning the music in the heasdset is her own.



2. Single - I like her old covers the most, but i have no favorite. Although i really like the thread going from "TO BE" through her "Boys & Girls" and ending in the "A" single.

3. PV - I can't stop watching "because of you." It's loaded with symbolism and everytime i watch it i discover something new. The way it has been edited to is very good, the images going back and forth and stopping up for just a few seconds really gets to me. I also like it at the beginning of the PV when all the girls seem to be playing one character.

i just think Abest is ...well, the best. it is the most sophisticated and focuses more on the art of photography than how well someone can retouch ayu's face. All the picture look more natural and real.
besides, there is that one picture in memorial adress where ayu is wearing a cabbage as a dress and pretending to be a ballerina.
