Ayu and Paris Hilton's dress
no this isn't a copy thread.
i was just wondering if anyone knew the designer of this dress. Its the one that Ayu wears in the "Queen of Nail Art" wallpapers. Its blue and has a big sequined bow on it. I noticed one day while I was at the mall that Paris Hilton was wearin the same dress to promote her perfume line, i figured it must be a designer dress since they both were wearing it, and that happens with designer clothes alot. does anyone know who made it?

I like your preface.
 I think that picture of Ayu is actually from a magazine photoshoot....nonetheless, never noticed that Paris also wore the same dress. I too would like to know who the designer is ^^; Maybe somebody w/that particular magazine photoshoot will know...

It should be in the magazine, if you could find a full scan it would probably be there. It's probably one of the luxury brands, or some very famour designer or fashion house, since both ayu and Hilton is wearing it. It was a very beautiful dress though.

o.O it doesn't look like the same exact dress to me.. any bigger pictures of the pic with Paris in it?.. it's just so small that i can't tell..

^ I've seen that Paris ad in some magazines here but I don't have that particular magazine on me right now
  Anyway, at a closer look, Paris's dress looks a little different from Ayu's...I think Ayu is wearing an extra sash/belt.

Oh, I loved that dress! It was very pretty. I have it in several allure magazines that I have, maybe I'll rip it out and scan it later.
But are you sure it's the same dress?

I agree, Paris doesn't look too great in that dress.. o.O;; Ayu looks much better.. but the bigger picture of Ayu she looks like she's stoned.. o.O;;

It looks like the same designer to me but the scans of the article with Ayumi doesn't say who designed it (that info is probably in the back of the magazine and not part of the feature).
Ayumi looks like she's wearing a bodice/corset under her dress. But (totally OT) I think it looks better on Paris because the dress is made for someone with her figure and height. If Ayumi stood up in those photos, you'd see that the dress is much too long for her.
