Before STEP you
Yoyogi, how are you? How are you? How are you? Tonight's the last night! Welcome everyone!
So, today's the last day. Ever since the first song, everyone has been giving off so much power. I hope that today, no one leaves with regrets. So let's sing and dance all we can!
Next up, the first song on the encore list, is the song from a while ago, on the 20th of April, the one released on the new single. So let's come and sing this new song! Thank you everyone for the fantastic response. So.. Because this new single is a double a-side, let's just sing the more upbeat one today. STEP you!
STEP you
After STEP you
Thank you everyone! I wonder if everyone has heard this new song before. It's been on sale since the 20th of April. The song "STEP you" which I just sung, and another song "is this LOVE?" make up a double a-side single. The song "STEP you" illustrates an honest, innocent, willing-to-give-all girl's attitude towards the things and people she likes. On the other hand, "is this LOVE?" illustrates how, when in front of the person she likes, she finds that, actually, she cannot be honest at all. Often, she finds that she says things which she doesn't mean, trying to act like a tough girl. In fact, these two songs are actually like one song. This single sings out all of a girl's thoughts. Hope everyone gives their support for this single!
Next, let me introduce the emcee that everyone has been waiting for. Emcee Yo-chan!
Emcee Session
Ayu: What's up? Are you alright?
Yo-chan: Just now, there was this really cute girl sitting over there who threw a blow-kiss at me. So until now, I haven't gotten my senses back.
Ayu: So now you're still a little dazed?
Yo-chan: Right, right.
Ayu: No wonder.
Yo-chan: Yes, I will work hard.
Ayu: So, today is the last performance.
Yo-chan: It's the last day, so we must make it perfect.
Ayu: Yes, we must put up a good performance.
Yo-chan: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Last day!
Audience: Last day!
Yo-chan: Thank you everyone for being so cooperative. That was great! Isn't it wonderful today? Well, actually, ever since this tour started, it was normal for me to come here and say a few words. However, it has slowly become sort of a routine, and so this became a permanent concert item.
Ayu: Yep, it was just there suddenly.
Yo-chan: Yes, it was just there suddenly. It became an item with me here collecting questions from the audience, and helping everyone ask these questions to ayu.
Ayu: Yep!
Yo-chan: So what do people normally ask? Actually, it's all here at the back of my guitar. And today's questions are really interesting.
Ayu: Yes!
Yo-chan: Because it's the last day.
Ayu: Yep, so today's the last episode of this concert item?
Yo-chan: Yes, yes, of course.
Ayu: That's good.
Yo-chan: Are you ready? We're starting. I want to ask Hamasaki Ayumi this question!!
Q&A
Yo-chan: Thank you everyone. Well for today, we have a grand total of 11 494 questions.
Ayu: That's impressive. Thanks everyone!
Yo-chan: So, because today is the last day and this is our last performance, it marks the end of this round of MY STORY tours. During the course of this tour, this particular question has appeared many times.
Ayu: Really?
Yo-chan: So maybe since today's the last day, we might as well bring it up.
Ayu: Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt Yo-chan now, but ever since we started singing INSPIRE just now, there was this thing that kept coming to my mind.
Yo-chan: What is it?
Ayu: Sorry to interrupt you but can I say this? Can I? Can I? Eh, there's this man standing over there wearing a construction suit. How should I say this? But he's not wearing anything under that. When the audience area goes dark and the atmosphere is just right, he's sparkling away right there. It just kept sparkling away, here to my left, so everytime I look in that direction I'll see him. So this is just stuck in my mind. And finally, now that I can see clearly, I see that he's not wearing anything underneath! So I just wanted to share this with everyone.
Yo-chan: I hope there's no construction work being done there now. Are you alright? Be careful not to hit the people around you.
Ayu: I'm sorry. Now let's get back to Yo-chan's question.
Yo-chan: All clear now. Frankly, I would also like to know-
Ayu: All clear now?
Yo-chan: Did you want to say that the guy is more eye-catching than my guitar? Ok let's start!
Ayu: Let's start!
Yo-chan: There are 2 most frequently asked questions.
Ayu: Most frequently asked?
Yo-chan: Yes, I'll bring up 2 questions today. A 30 year old from Tokyo asks: "What's the happiest thing that happened to you during this tour?" That's the question.
Ayu: Ah..happiest thing..
Yo-chan: During the entire tour.
Ayu: This has got to be the happiest thing that happened. During the course of this tour, there was one performance that fell on my 7th anniversary, and I became an 8th grader. Thank you everyone. On that day when I entered my 8th year, all of the audience had this secret kept from Ayu. First, Yo-chan prepared many letters and distributed them to the audience. Then, with his cue, everyone suddenly started singing my debut song as a surprise present for me. This has been a very happy thing for me. Thank you everyone.
Yo-chan: Actually, I wanted to say that this was also your most memorable moment. So I prepared this photo today.
Ayu: Is it the photo that everyone took together?
Yo-chan: Yep. It was taken on the 9th of April.
Ayu: Yes. I took a photo with everyone
Yo-chan: The 9th of April was the concert at Hiroshima, when everyone brought the cake out onto the stage and we had a celebration. At that time, we took a photo from the stage to include the audience.
Ayu: So it was from this direction..
Yo-chan: Yes, yes. So let's let everyone take a look. So this is the photo.
Ayu: Oh yes. It's this one. And all the way back, with a PEACE gesture and looking really happy, is Yo-chan.
Yo-chan: Yes. Even though it's ayu's 7th anniversary, I think I look the most prominent. I'm so sorry.
Ayu: This is really a nice photo. I love this photo, and everyone had a copy of it.
Yo-chan: And backstage we cut the cake into many small pieces, and everyone got a slice. It was delicious and everyone enjoyed it.
Ayu: Yep!
Yo-chan: So that's it. And I would like to congratulate you.
Ayu: Yes. So this is the most frequently asked question?
Yo-chan: It came up many times. Everyone wants to know about the happiest thing that happened to you, and since I thought you would bring this up, I went to prepare this photo beforehand to show everyone.
Ayu: Thank you.
Yo-chan: Let's hope that you continue to work hard.
Ayu: Yep!
Yo-chan: Next, we have another question. Ha ha ha...
Ayu: Eh?
Yo-chan: This question.. I think there's only one answer to it. Someone is Osaka asks-
Ayu: Wait, since this is the last question, I want to hear the music that comes with the question!
Yo-chan: Oh, I forgot! Yeah, it totally slipped my mind. I'm sorry.
Ayu: You forget everytime..
Yo-chan: I've been a little forgetful lately. Question!
Ayu: Yes, this is the one.
Yo-chan: I'm so sorry. So, a teenage girl from Osaka asks: Please tell me about any interesting happenings during this tour.
Ayu: Interesting happenings.. There are more than I can count.
Yo-chan: Were there really that much?
Ayu: Um.
Yo-chan: Actually, I thought about this question beforehand and did some preparations.
Ayu: It's not right to say there weren't any failures, but these things are inevitable. It's impossible not to have these little situations, not that they're little anyway. These things.. Ah! At the Saitan SUPER ARENA... Don't laugh when I tell you this! At the Saiten SUPER ARENA, we were making waves. There were 5 stories there, so it was really fantastic. Starting from the 5th level, it went Ga! to the 4th to the 3rd to the 2nd levels. I was so touched, and when I felt like going up to join in, I suddenly went bwahh and fell down! That was really, really, how do I say this? From the time my foot slipped till when I fell onto the floor, it felt like I was watching it slow-motion. The impact of the fall was so great that I was wondering whether it was all going to end. Even though everything was alright in the end, I had this bruise the entire week following the fall. Right here on the butt following the shape of the netting on the floor. Actually I wanted to show it to everyone, but didn't in the end. I guess you all must be thinking "I don't want to see it".
Yo-chan: Oh yeah, did anyone watch that performance at Saiten? Wow so there are alot of eyewitnesses here.
Ayu: It really is a lot.
Yo-chan: Yeah, and does anyone who did not witness the actual fall want to see it? Well, let's show it to everyone then. I have with me the footage of Hamasaki Ayumi's slip and fall. During this tour, even though I showed everyone a lot of photos, this is the first time I'm bringing out a video!
Ayu: I hope not..
Yo-chan: Because ayu looked a little unglamorous when she fell, let's start the video from a little way before that. Start the video please.
Video
Ayu: Wow, that's great! It's so neat! It's so neat! That's great! The wave was so majestic, I got so excited...The last time I had such a big fall was in elementary school. Ouch!
Back
Yo-chan: Miss Hamasaki? Miss Hamasaki? Are you alright?
Ayu: Well, your preparations are really great eh?
Yo-chan: The impression was so great. And the photographer was also very quick and accurate. Great, isn't it? As for our audience now, if someone happened to blink and miss it, here's a rerun for you! So let's show it one more time! This time, let's not start from the front and just watch the important part.
-Video-
Yo-chan: Wow, that looked really painful.
Ayu: That fall was really exaggerated. It should not be any worse than what a professional does, right? You didn't have to bring it out anyway.
Yo-chan: So has the wound fully healed?
Ayu: Oh it's fine now. It took only about a week to fully heal.
Yo-chan: So it doesn't hurt anymore?
Ayu: It's only a little painful emotionally.
Yo-chan: I guess that video will add up to more then.
Ayu: I felt as if I was being cut with a knife when I watched it.
Yo-chan: Well, would you like to be cut a third time? Just kidding, we won't show it anymore. So that's it. The most frequently asked questions...the happiest moment-
Ayu: So this is the special section.
Yo-chan: and the interesting happening. Not to say I also employed a special way of asking to get the answers I want. So those are the 2 questions for today. So that's the end of "I want to ask Hamasaki Ayumi this question!!"
Ayu: Normally, the question answer sessions end with Yo-chan, but today we have another session in store! Hamasaki Ayumi wants to ask Yo-chan this question!! You wait and see!
Yo-chan: How did I not know of this?
Ayu: You wait and see!
Yo-chan: Eh?
Ayu: So, Mr Yoshio..
Yo-chan: Yes?
Ayu: During the countdown live concert, you talked about a goal for the year 2005? Yea, everyone knows about it. Yea, everyone remembers it. Lose 10kg! Did you have such a goal?
Audience: You haven’t slimmed at all!
Yo-chan: Yes. You audience keep quiet! I’m not for you to criticize!
Ayu: Even so.. Mr. Yoshio does put in a lot of effort. So today-
Yo-chan: What?
Ayu: We have a secretly taken photo of the effort put in by Mr. Yoshio. Here it is!
Yo-chan: Oh no..
Ayu: This was taken during his tummy training.
Yo-chan: When was this taken? I absolutely don't remember ever taking this.
Ayu: Well, it does seem like your weight loss programme is really relaxing.
Yo-chan: That was when I was pretending to be rowing a boat.
Ayu: Oh, I see.
Yo-chan: How can you do this to me?
Ayu: So that's it. Yo-chan often hides in a corner of the backstage to do his training. He also watches his diet. So let's hope that by this year's Countdown Live we'll get to see a Yo-chan who weighs 10kg less! So that's the end of "Hamasaki Ayumi wants to ask Yo-chan this question!!"
Before Humming 7/4
So before we proceed to our second encore song, I'd like to welcome our dancers out on stage. Come on dancers! Please give them a round of applause. So our next song is Humming 7/4. Let me explain this song to everyone first. Firstly, there's this part where I'd like everyone to sing along. My tour mates will demonstrate first. Please watch, OK?
1 2 3 Go!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
I'm humming a song. One more time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
While walking ahead. One more time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
If it doesn't matter whether I cry or smile. Next is the last time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
If it's all the same, I will rather smile.
So that's how it's done! Just like everyone has seen just now, my tour mates demonstrated this. "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!" I hope everyone will sing along here. The melody is really simple, "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!", that's all. The actions are really simple too, just clench your fist and bring it up like this. Try it everyone. Ready? "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!" When we sing JUMP, everyone please jump up. Is it OK? Let's try it again. Ready? "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!" OK OK, no problem. So everyone please sing and jump like this. And when everyone is ready, let's do this once!
1 2 3 Go!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
I'm humming a song. One more time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
While walking ahead. One more time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
If it doesn't matter whether I cry or smile. Last time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
If it's all the same, I will rather smile.
OK, that was great! This is the last day so everyone must really really really really really enjoy this!!
1 2 3 Go!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
I'm humming a song. Louder!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
While walking ahead. That's it!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
If it doesn't matter whether I cry or smile. Last time!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP!
If it's all the same, I will rather smile.
OK!! Everyone has no problems with this. Next, let me explain the bridge part to everyone. The bridge's melody goes like this, "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!", that's it. So everyone takes turns to sing this melody. First, we will sing it to everyone, "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!". Next, everyone sings back to us, "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!". Then we sing it again, "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!" OK, so we take turns like this. The actions here are a little different, but it is really simple. Just clench your fist and raise it up, that's all. "everybody GO! everybody JUMP!". Yes, yes, that's it. So let's try this. Ready? Oh, sorry, I was a little confused when saying that, it sounded weird. I'm sorry. Oh no, it's the last performance, I have to get this right! Oh, can we edit out that last portion over there from the DVD please? So let's practice the bridge part, OK? So it's us first, then everyone, then us, then everyone. Let's begin.
1 2 3 Go!
everybody GO! everybody JUMP! (More!) (repeat)
OK! That's great! No problems at all. So let's sing this song then! Humming 7/4!!
Humming 7/4
Together!
One more time!
One more time!
1, 2, 1 2 3 Go!
Thank you!
Together!
One more time!

1, 2, 1 2 3 Go!
Together!
