Oricon asked 500 woman what celebrity they wanted to copy in terms of summer fashion: aiko was first, model Yuri Ebihara was 2nd and Ayu tied with talento YOU and Namie Amuro in 3rd place.

I think it's funny how aiko is always first in this type of fashion icon polls and favorite artist polls... she is REALLY admired, huh?

Japanese culture is totally different. Cute and childish equals sexy there which makes Ai Otsuka (and Yuri Ebihara, too) huge sex symbols while Koda Kumi-sexy isn't sexy at all, Japanese man are scared by this type of powerful attitude and that's why she is much more popular among girls.

LOL, I just watched the video for Shiawase and yeah, I'm definitely down with aiko being #1.
#3 is a great position for Ayumi. I can understand that most women wouldn't want to spend their summer in glittery dresses and high heels, but that tight outfit from glitter when she and Shawn are out eating - that's lovely.


Now firework festivals I can understand, but firework... dates?! :| I don't think that most Japanese men are those types of men.
