Nana Kitade Official Thread
I can't believe there's no thread for her
(北出 菜奈, Kitade Nana?, born May 2, 1987 in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture) is a Japanese pop singer. She started learning the piano at 3, wrote her own lyrics at 12, and started on the guitar at 14. After junior high, she went to Tokyo to pursue her dreams in singing. In 2002, she passed a demonstration tape examination at the Sony Music audition of 40,000 application totals. From there, she was signed to SME Records Inc., and in October, she recorded her first single Kesenai Tsumi (Inerasable Sin), which was used for the ending theme of the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. By August 2005, her first album 18-eighteen was released. She held her first official concert after that. Later came the fashion line of her signature Gothic Lolita look called Moon King. She soon became a fashion icon for many teenage girls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nana_Kitade --- She's cool and has a really crackling unique voice =D She's likes pop rock so I guess that's her style switching from punk fashion gothic lolita rofl some songs of hers are PURENESS and Kibo no Kakera

^ people on JPM think the same thing. i think sony just wants to see if people are still interested in nana, maybe. i dunno the exact reasoning behind this best album.

Well, I don't think it's a good idea b/c most of Nana's sales are lackluster. (u_u) How can u like her for her style but not her music?! Plz, tell me isn't turning into Avex?!!!

i don't think this album has anything to do with nana's style. sony's just doing it. i dunno why, but it's probbably to see how much nana can sell this time. it's not like their dropping her, but if they ever did, she'd probbably go to a smaller sub label of sony.
that's my THEORY. i have no clue otherwise, lol. |

^Well, I mentioned her 'style' b/c as u know, she's popular for her gothic lolita which I really like but...I mean, u would think that she's well-known in fashion that that'll help her in her single/album sales. Also, she just released Antoinette Blue w/ no album to support it. I would take it its to promote this BEST of album
