What do you think of these 2 albums?

Ladies Night remix kick ass, so fun to listen. It it totally different from the original one.

IMO, ayu-mi-x 6 SILVER is better than GOLD.

XoX INSPIRE remix throw me a bone. As I said in the preview thread, ayu screams for "Gucci Gucci" ...
(This remix definitely need to be renamed as INSPIRE x GUCCI)

decision × FORCE OF NATURE is definitely great. So does JEWEL × STEPHANE POMPOUGNAC.

I'm not finished yet but the moments and inspire remixes are disappointing, imo.
I'm liking the Beautiful Fighters remix which is great considering I hate the original mix of the song.

SILVER is much much better than GOLD.
The only GOLD remixes that I liked are step you, t2m and beautiful fighters. On SILVER I like GAME <3, alterna, heaven, decision, about you, carols and together when.

Well, I have heard only some of the songs and I'm a bit dissapointed, since most of them (ourselves, BLUE BIRD, glitter, Greatful Days) are kinda typical simple remixes which I've already heard too much everywhere. Moments is.... um, I'll have to listen to it a bit more. xD Actually it sounds pretty annoying...
But I really like t2m, Beautiful Fighters and STEP you ones. But those are only the ones I've heard yet so I hope I'll like the rest.

the beginning of HAPPY ENDING is nice but got ruined

No way to say, alterna, HEAVEN, walking proud are my favourite from SILVER.

I love the alterna remix. It's awesome and I can actually dance really good to it. O_O Which I normally can't to remix music.. I haven't heard any others yet.

Ok so here's my review of ayu-mi-x 6 -SILVER-...it downloaded first so I decided to listen to it before GOLD. Oh and I'll do an edit for my review on GOLD.

1. GAME X YOJI 4/5 -awesome!
2. Together when... X CO-FUSION 3/5 - This one was pretty cool.
3. No way to say X HIGH CONTRAST 5/5 -This was one of my favs! It's just excellent!
4. alterna X FREEFORM 4/5
5. HEAVEN X DAISHI DANCE 1/5 -I pretty much hated this one lol. I only liked the acoustics in the beginning and that was it. I don't care for the original song as it is.
6. fated X MAKOTO 3/5 - Kind of boring; it was alright.
7. About you X BLACK STROBE 5/5 -another favorite <3
8. decision X FORCE OF NATURE 4/5
9. JEWEL X STEPHANE POMPOUGANAC 5/5
10. CAROLS X PLAYGROUP 4/5
11. part of me X CARL CRAIG 2/5 - I didn't like the way they made her voice sound overly lazy :/...but the end had some coolio percussion
12. walking proud X CALM 4/5 - I changed my mind...I like it alot!

OVERALL: A-

My thoughts on GOLD....

1. STEP you X THE YOUNG PUNX 5/5 - Plain awesome!!!
2. Moments X dj Kentaro 4/5 - This one was pretty cool but it felt kind of long and that random guy was weird.
3. talkin' 2 myself X STONEBRIDGE 4/5 - I really liked this one, but it had some weak points.
4. Beautiful Fighters 2/5 - Mmmm yeah...'nuff said I think xD
5. INSPIRE X ARMAND VAN HELDEN 2/5 - Ummm no comment >.><.< lol
6. Greatful Days X PARA ONE 3/5 - This one started off cool but the weird effects got a little irritating.
7. Startin' X SHINICHI OSAWA 2/5 - Boring
8. glitter X SOUL CENTRAL 2.5/5 - Better than the last but still boring.
9. BLUE BIRD X 7TH GATE 3/5 - I have mixed emotions about this one....
10. ourselves X COLDCUT 4/5 - FINALLY a cool song lol j/k but I did really like this one.
11. Ladies Night × AFRA & INCREDIBLE BEATBOX BAND 4/5 - Excellent beat and cool effects but I didn't like the cheesy voice they added in.
12. HAPPY ENDING X MAD PROFESSOR 2.5/5 - This one was kind of neat but it was a little too random. This isn't really something I'd find myself listening to often.

OVERALL: C - it was just OK.

I thought SILVER was much better...although GOLD had a cooler cover.
Oh and one other thing, I don't know if this has already been specified or if this is a dumb observation, but I realized the mixes on SILVER had more of a dark sound to them, while GOLD had a glamorous/laid back-like feel to them. Maybe that's why I prefer SILVER lol xD

DAISHI DANCE should be one of composers for ayu. The remix sounds so original. It would be cool if he composes a new song for ayu.

I totally loved every mix on -SILVER- on -GOLD I liked only STEP you, Beautiful Fighters, glitter, Ladies Night and HAPPY ENDING, the rest had a lot of annoying beats.

I only listened to GOLD, I was never a fan of remixes, not a fan of this either. A few were pretty good, but HAPPY ENDING was practically butchered. That remix was to amateurish, sounded like somebody who just downloaded a remix program for free and gave it a go for fun.

i'm not finished with both of them yet, but i absolutely love what MSTRKRFT did to "Beautiful Fighters". i don't like the orginal mix to it, so it was really nice to listen to!

GOLD

STEP you / 5/10 / I like it, it's refreshing as a start on the album, sets the pace kind of, but it's not very original or too catchy. Still, it's something I'd get on the dance floor to dance to, if only because it's STEP you. ^_^

Moments / 6/10 / One thing about moments is that I love the song so much, the melody and the harmonies that I'm easily pleased with any remix that retains those. This does. I like the concept and style as well, even though the high pitched electronic sounds make me cringe a little.

Talkin' 2 myself / 7/10 / Compared to Moments, this track works the other way around. I like the beat a LOT, but it ends up being a little flat and repetetive with the melody of talkin 2 myself. Overall a good mix despite that.

Beautiful Fighters / 8/10 / I must admit I'm not a big fan of the original I thought it was pretty lame for lack of a better word. This mix takes away whatever lameness the original arrangements contributed with and make this rather listenable. I love the cute melody on top of the raw synth, kind of reminds me of some of perfume's work in that way.

INSPIRE /6/10 / SO maybe I'm brainwashed, but I keep hearing "gucci gucci" in the beginning of this song. This mix gets a little repetetive quickly, still it's interesting that they changed the melody up. not really a highlight IMO.

Greatful days / 8/10 / I'll gladly admit that this song originally was probably my last favourite ayu song untill the release of Bold & delicious. GIves me the same vibes as Beautiful Fighters did. Likewise I like this remix quite a lot, especially the intro and end. I like the use of vocals as well.

Startin' / 9/10 / I like the original song and this mix adds a different vibe. Not much more to say. I like it.

BLUE BIRD / 8/10 / Ok, so my first pick would've been an acoustic version for this song, but this chilled out dance mix is not that bad either. I don't really like the way they treated the chorus but overall one of the better ones off the album. (ANd Oh, I totally always loved the melody of this song)

ourselves / 9/10/ When this first played, I thought, how on earth is this going to work with ourselves? Turns out it works great. I also like how it stays somewhat true to the original in terms of structure.

HAPPY ENDING / 7/10 / So the name of this should be "Chopped to pieces mix". I kind of like it, it's a relaxing break from the other mixes and adds nice variety. It does also make me really sleepy.

glitter / 9/10 / Just in time, this remix begins. I reminds me so much of the 90s music which to me is not a bad thing! glitter original version is not far from falling into the same category as BF and GF (O.o) and this mix has the same effect on it as the respective other mix' had. This is my favourite mix off the album on first listen.

Ladies Night / 6/10 / Had an awesome mix already, not to mention a great original version. The male voice really surprised me, but fits nicely in a weird way. I guess you need some men to make it a true Ladies Night.

SILVER

GAME / 10/10/ With an addicting and intensive beat this really makes me want to hear it in a club. Awesome opener for SILVER.

Together When... / 9/10/ I was so hyped after GAME, then this slow mix comes on turning my mood off completely. When the pace finally picks up though, it turns out to be a great mix with a really good build up.

No way to say / 6/10 / I love the drum'n'bass like flow of this, but mix itself isen't really that interesting and nwts was never my favourite ayu song. it's nice and just "there".

alterna / 9/10 / From the moment the beats kicks in I know I like it. It's catchy, fun and dancealbe. It ends right right before it gets boring.

HEAVEN /10/10 / My prayers have been answered! An acoustic orchestra.. huh I guess not. still a pretty darn good mix.

Desicion /7/10 / I like this mix, but it gets a little repetetive and is not that interesting.

part of me / 5/10 / As much as I like the song, I just don't like what the remixer did to it in the chorus. It totally takes away the energy from the song and the mix. It's still listenable, but annoying.

JEWEL /7/10 / I feel like this remix is almost there. I like it, but it lacks a little something. It gets a little repetetive for sure, but still flows very well with the original melody.

fated /8/10 / This I like, relaxing, but at the same time it doesen't make me doze off. Good mix.

About you / 6/10/ I don't really like the original that much and this does nothing to correct that, quite on the contrary, this makes the song even flatter and uniteresting frankly.

Carols / 7/10 / An ok mix of an ok song, very content with how they treated chorus.

walking proud / 8/10 / I feel like this mix will grow on me as time goes by, it's relaxing and nice to listen to even if it doesen't make a great impact.

Beautiful Fighters x MSTRKRFT sounds like it has some of the melodic arrangement that Ladies Night ~another night~ had during the chorus.. :O~
