BAD experience with CELGA when ordering 10th anniversary goods

I am so pissed while i'm writing this. i am certainly boycotting CELGA AFTER i receive my goods. THis is the first time and last time i'm using their service!

It all started when i emailed them asking about how much they charge:
(i put it under spoiler so it wouldn't be so long)

Spoiler:

1st email - 6th april

Hi, This if the first time I'm using CELGA and I'm not sure if this is the correct procedure. I will like to find out the price of the following before confirming my order. Kindly quote me the total price including AND excluding shipping and extra costs. Thanks! Attached is a picture of the things I want to get.

Fan x 1qty

ayupan 第1弾 x 6qty

key chain x 1qty

handphone chain (red) x 1qty

white jacket (ladies) x 1qty

black jacket (ladies) x 1qty

2nd email - Reply from CELGA 6 Apr

Hello!

I bought them for you. Our billing will send you
the official invoice in a few days. Thank you very
much!

Keigo Morita
Celga Japan

3rd email - My reply to them 6 Apr

Hi. I was asking for the price before confirming my order. Have you bought the items already? How much will it cost? the extra charges and shipping in total?

4th email - reply from CELGA 6 Apr

Hello,
Sorry for the trouble, our Japan side saw the email
and went ahead and processed the order. So, we will
give you a markup discount. I'll state the total price
below and then your discount. Except, we can't really
estimate shipping without knowing how much it weighs,
so that part will only be a guess.
Item price: 18,600 yen = $196
Bank fee: $2
Shipping in JP: $10
Our fee ($5 minimum per item for 11 items): $55
----------------------
Subtotal: $263
Instead we will only take $20 markup for these items.
New Subtotal: $228
Shipping to you: ???? Maybe $35?

Thank you
Hyla
Celga, Inc.

5th email - my reply to them 7 Apr

Hi Hyla,

Its ok i guess. Thanks a lot for your help. I'm a little confused here. So i will have to make the payment according to the new subtotal that you stated which is USD$228, and you will let me know of the shipping price later on? Is it correct? I have received an invoice before this email, will you be sending me a new invoice?

6th email - reply from CELGA 7 Apr

Ah! Usually it takes a little longer to send out an
invoice. I'll have billing send you a revised invoice
soon for the new amount. Then, in about a week please
fill out http://www.celga.com/shipform.html to have
your items packed to ship, then you will receive a
shipping invoice.
Thanks for being so understanding!

after this, i just continue to update them when i have made the payment for the goods. no reply. then after i filled in the shipping form. and they reply me this:

Spoiler:

CELGA's reply - 14 Apr

thank you,
it will take a few days for celga japan office to
prepare the package, and then for billing to invoice
the postage cost to you. thanks
- emily

i sent them another email - 18 Apr
Hi emily,

can you give me an estimation of when i will receive the invoice for the postage and the package?

Thanks...

Celga's reply - 19 Apr

Hello,
You should receive it in the next few days ^^ Our
shipping department has been a bit delayed due to a
business trip to Taiwan. Thank you for your patience!

Ashley

then today i sent them another email. Cos i'm also helping someone else here to order the goods and she's getting anxious too!

Quote:

Hi. When exactly will I receive my package and the shipping invoice? Its been 2 weeks since i made my payment for the items and more than 1 week since i filled up the shipping request.

their reply to me

Hello,
I'm so sorry for the confusion! I checked on the
status of your items, and it looks like everything
that you ordered was a pre-order item- the items
haven't been released yet. They'll be released between
the end of this month and the middle of next month.

i wanted to find out more from the website, i tried to use google translator to translate the mu-mo page to see if wad they said is true. but as u all know, the translation turned out quite bad... angrily, i replied them again

Hi there. according to the mu-mo website. It was stated that the goods are released on the 4th of April. Nothing on the website mentioned anything about pre-ordered other than the 2nd series of ayupan, which clearly i did not order any. The only delay i can understand would be that it takes UP to 3 weeks to receive the items on your side. Shouldn't all dates be clarified, or at least estimated since you all told me you have bought the items for me. Not to mentioned I have already paid for them.

You sent me an email dated 6th of april saying that you have bought the goods for me. even so, if mu-mo takes 3 weeks for delivery. you should receive the item latest by early next week. Hope you can clarify things for me. This is only the first time i'm using CELGA and i would really hate it if communication is so unclear on your side.

their super rude reply to me!

Hey, you sound so difficult. Mu-Mo site is slow to
ship. It says 3 weeks, right? Then, it's April 24
today. They state that it MAY be delayed and it takes
more than 3 weeks. Don't you read it? When they
arrive, they arrive. What do you want? You think we
are lying to you??

Hey, I checked out thier site and

The site says the items will be delivered at the
end of April-early May. And it may be delayed.

We often deal with Mu-Mo and they are very slow to
ship. And often it is delayed. They don't even reply
to the inquiry. If you don't believe me, then ask
them.

End of April

Early May

http://shop.mu-mo.net/avx/sv/item1?j...g_id=201303017

Please wait more. Be patient.
i am like super irritated and annoyed after this can? is this how they treat their customers? i wasn't trying to be difficult lor. the whole conversation was so vague, all the time i thot they should have received the items. wouldn't hurt for them to explain to me isn't it? since i already told them its the first time i tried using CELGA.

put themselves in my shoes lor. just anxiously waiting, hoping i'll get them soon and this is how they treat their customer.

i am totally boycotting them and going to CRESCENT SHOP or resort to use VPOST in future even though i totally dun read Japanese and probably won't know what i'm filling most of the time. damn damn. if its not because i've paid them, i'm not giving them any chance at all!

i just got their reply.

Hello,

So, now it's clear? If I was a customer, I'd be
politer to ask a question. I wouldn't sound like
you did. You felt that I was rude then it's because
of your respond. We treat good customers well but
we don't tread difficult/demanding customers as
good as good customers.

Keigo
now which part of my question sounded rude!??? except perhaps the last line. i was angry lor. i paid 200+ usd for something and i can't even track the status of? CELGA is so not professional.

er I never buy anything from there & not to mention Crescent Moon

do you consider to contact this person ? someone posted this before on ahs & I thought you might wanna contact her -> http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/ws/eBayISAPI....46&mfe=sidebar

she is probably able to help you to get ayumi's 10th anniversary merch & she also can do the same for other artistes

I have contacted her to get some Ken Hirai stuff & you probably should give it a shot , no harm done to email her .

She goes by the name of Chikako & she seems like a nice lady to me

good luck with that

I understand your frustration and agree with you. I don't think you were being difficult or rude, it's probably them that misread and there was a misunderstanding. You have all the rights to not use their services from then on, but at this point, all you can do is wait for your things to arrive.

I use Crescent Shop and my things haven't arrived yet either, so I think pretty much everyone is still waiting for their order to arrive. I've never bought anything from mu-mo before, so I don't know if being slow like this is common or not. But there are many people buying the AT08 goods, so I'd guess they are very busy at the moment.

I recommend Japan Auction Agency next time...very friendly and you have a look on the status of all your items and cost (exept for shipping) in the moment you order....

WOAH **** NOW THEY ARE BEING REALLY COCKY THERE...
well not cocky but really *******ED up the ass
luckily i didn't choose Celga...
1. their website looked like a *******hole
2. their fees were incredibly HIGH
3. you're dilemma xD lols
ummm
use Crescent shop
they are the best i'd say
1. they have 1-2 day delay within emails..i'd say quite fast
2. they have "proper' menu's etc
3. if you order something online, they send you invoice (or was it statement?) and a PROPER ONE AS WELL
4. Online Auctions are so easy to use...just put a deposit of $50USD (which you can get back when ever you want so long as you don't owe them ne money from winning bids), and bid for the item...it is automated so as soon as you input ur amount etc, it comes up as bidded xD
5. they have a menu for the items which show whether the item has arrived in their office yet or not
6. NO HASSLES
7. NO REGRETS =D

^no JAA is better...it has the same features, they answer directly in their next business hours (there is a table where you can see when they are in), they are cheap, they are fast, they are friendly and they store ya stuff up for one month and send it as a bundle...

There's no point starting a debate on which middle-man is better than the other. Especially if you haven't tried any other ones than the one you currently are using.

Everyone has their one preferences.
