ワコールは９日、中国などアジア地域でも大人気の歌手、浜崎あゆみさんを７月からアジア向けの広告キャラク ターに起用すると発表した。特に中国で下着の販売を拡大し、２０１０年度に中高級品のシェア１０％獲得を目 指す。

　同社は１９８６年、中国・北京市に現地法人を設立。主に２０～３０代向けの中高級品として、ブラジャーで ３００元（約４５００円）を中心価格帯に「ワコール」「アンフィ」「サルート」の３ブランドを展開している 。

　０７年の中高級品の市場規模が、小売りベースで約５２億元（約７８０億円）に上り、年率２０％以上で成長 していると推計。０７年１２月期の売上高は前期比４２％増の２９億円、中高級品でのシェアは約６％だが、浜 崎さんの起用で１０％獲得を目指す。

　同社は韓国、タイ、台湾でも１９７０年に合弁会社を設立以来、販売促進活動を展開している。日本を除くア ジア地域合同で、浜崎さんが登場する広告を雑誌や屋内外で展開し、ワコールの認知度を高める考 え。
