i seriously FREAK if i download an album and it's tags suck. like, recently, i expanded my k-pop, and i wanted to throttle the guys who uploaded them, coz the tags SUCKED ASS. i mean seriously, if you're gonna do something, do it right! ![]() edit - it should be "that's fine", not "fun". ![]() Last edited by fanmail; 1st June 2008 at 04:04 PM. |

Yeah, whenever I download anything, I run it through my tag editing program before I do anything else with the files. LOLS, there's a song on my Sansa, that's called Nicole Scherzinger by the artist Baby Love (feat. will.i.am).

If it's not the correct tag, I'll bother about it for so long..
They're always perfect on my iPod (^0^) When I look at other people's mp3 player, THE TAGS ARE ALL WRONG (@_@)

To an extent... the only tags I change would be translating titles in other languages to English, AND I use proper English grammar (first letter capitalized, the rest lower case, etc), but other than that, yes, I have to have the tags correct.

I'm a ****ing retard so a lot of my tags never seem to work when I download an album. Like, I own PLAY, but when I listen to it while on my last fm it never shows up. WTH??
So it kind of annoys me but I'm not OCD about it. I'd like to know how to get them right... o_o

I go crazy with my tags. Even other people's.
My cousin's iTunes was disgusting. She had three different ayu's on her iPod: Ayumi Hamasaki, ayumi hamazaki, and 浜崎あゆみ. I pretty much went insane and fixed her entire iTunes library until all the Japanese artists had the characters for their names. I had to delete all the double songs she had on there and change the capital letters and such. ...it was so satisfying in the end. ![]() |

I've become insane about my tags. Now, it's a pain in the butt re-tagging everything that was in romaji/pinyin D:

I am a perfectionist at times, and this is one of the times I usually am. So if I see an error in the tags, I spaz like crazy and correct them all! XD

I am. My iPod is so neat. Sometimes I will listen to a friend's iPod and they will have like 5 rap genres listed undes RAP, rap, HIPHOP, etc. and 5 names of the same artist listed under different genres. It bugs the crap out of me.

I always change my tags. I want them to be correct and I want all my songs to be well organized in my iTunes player. Although, I'm not totally "crazy" with it either.
For artist, I write Ayumi Hamasaki instead of 浜崎あゆみ. For songs, I write Blue Days instead of ブルーデイズ.

I FINALLY figured out how to fix my tags properly. There's that thing called "Advanced Tag Editor" that I totally forgot about... lol.
