Startin' question

Hi there!


I have a question about Startin'.

When she sings those "la la la la la " parts, well everytime she sings those parts she sings something behind it which sounds like "Why" (Wa-hai).


So, I was wondering what she really sings or it just a word with no meaning?

As far as I know, It's just a sound.

No specific word/meaning.

I always thought it was just kind of like what's sung in Born To Be... ("wo wo"), like, "whoa-ah!" but the "i" or "ai" sound at the end is, like, involuntarily added.
