Congratz to Ayu !! I wonder if it will hit a million, that would be cool. "Very very bad for ayu" <-- What the heck, she is leading in singles and that is bad? I don't understand your logic.

Even tho Ayu got 1st place in sales for the & single this week (congrats), I heard from my friend that not many ppl are buying her releases as they usually do. Wonder if this is true or not

Though unwilling I have to admit that Ayu has done EXTREMELY bad, if the numbers are true (I keep on seeing last week's charts on the Oricon page) that makes "&" the lowest-selling debut for Ayu since "Far away" (except for AUDIENCE and Daybreak, there were only 300,000 copies of them), and that was in 2000. And worse, "&" had four new songs!!! For a more related comparision, "H" sold 417,000 in its first week.

Hard to say this, but is this the beginning of the end for Ayu? Fingers crossed for "forgiveness"...

I don't think it's bad. Look at 2nd and 3rd place. Much worser than ayu.
So: CONGRATULATS TO AYU

The debut of this single is only a little less the Utada's COLORS - so depending on how long it stays on the charts it could end up selling anywhere from 500k to 1million. Also to clear things up Voyage only sold about 230k in the first week.

Have a Happy Day!

No, according to HCE, it sold 310,920. And HCE always gets his numbers from oricon.

If it makes you feel any better i just calculated the top ten sales for the singles chart and the & single sold more than all of them combined!

That's just very sad for the j-pop industry.
