I just had the saddest dream ever!
If there was an alterna ~episode II~ or something, this would be it, I swear! It involves some RAINBOW-esque love, so be forewarned.
Okay, so, hopefully by now everyone has heard of the show Dollhouse starring Eliza Dushku. If you haven't, the basic premise of it is that there's this secret organization who has the ability to program a person's mind with any personality requested by a client, as well as remove it. Wikipedia it if you want more info. Anyway, it starts with me arriving at my old school gym which is holding a dance/speed dating-type event with Dolls (aka the programmed people) who are all J-pop stars (Jaejoong from DBSK and Rain/Bi - who I've never listened to - were two of the ones among them, fyi). Everyone's going around meeting one another, except for this one Doll who's standing at an Ayu exhibit. So, I go over to her and say, "Excuse me, are you Hamasaki Ayumi-san?" She says yes, and I introduce myself, but she's really distracted by this exhibit. It's got all her DVDs and CDs on it. I tell her that they're all of her and she asks, "But how come I don't remember any of it?" I don't remember what my response was, but following it, I turned her around and kissed her, to which she smiled. I then told her we should go find some place private, but being that we were in a school gym, that was impossible, so Ayu and I just walked around in circles until finally we sat down on the floor next to some other couples. One guy next to me looks up and says, "See, everyone finds true love." So, Ayu and I just sit there for a while, my head on her shoulder, until finally the school bell rings. Suddenly everyone starts filing out, Ayu included, being taken away by two guys in suits. Apparently, I was the only one who didn't realize she was a doll, and I'm just screaming "NO! AYU-CHAN! AYUMI! COME BACK!" at the top of my lungs. I try to stop them, saying that she's missing something, or forgot something, and one of the guys taking her just says, "She'll get it back." God, that was the saddest dream I've ever had. Oddly enough, I didn't wake up crying like I normally do when I have those types of dreams. I guess I should look at the bright side - I got a kiss.
