Other artists remastering songs like Ayu?

No way to say from No way to say (single)
No way to say from A BEST 2
No way to say from A COMPLETE

I know these songs are sightly different but on the name of the song they don't add things like 'new version' or 'album edition'

I wonder are there other japanese singers making changes to their songs on different releases like this?

I don't know about Mika but I have LOVE ENHANCED so I know that the songs in the tracklist are listed as 'new mix', 'new vocal' or 'new arrangment'

It's not the same :/ I think Ayu it's the only artist doing this

Technically, No way to say is the same track both in the single and on Memorial adress, but when they included it on A BEST 2 they remastered it, just like the rest of songs there. Don't know if they did the same on A COMPLETE although I wouldn't be surprised.

Remastering is a process on which they kind of "update" the tracks and they enhance the original quality of it (usually the sound is louder and sharper). They do this with movies also. The thing is that the difference is subtle compared to the original track (it is more spectacular when you remaster for example, a 1960 song in 2009, because the technology back then was more primitive, but No way to say was originally a song made with modern technology, so the A BEST remastering has only subtle differences on sound.) so many people don't notice it.

This is included as a bonus on special releases (like compilations). Many artists do it, not only Ayu, as usually "Best ofs" are remastered.
