About alan

Alan Dawa Dolma, referred to as alan is a Chinese singer of Khampa Tibetan descent who made her Japanese-language debut in 2007 with the single Ashita e no Sanka. She is the first and still the only singer from mainland China signed by Avex Trax to release Japanese songs, and her designated producer and composer is Kikuchi Kazuhito. alan is a devout Buddhist and all of her songs deal with love, hope, peace and the environment.

Swear is such a big bore. I'm disappointed in the single. It didn't fail as much as BALLAD, but it just wasn't good. The instrumentation for both songs are really nice though.

Well i love the full single, i love all her ballads and swear is diferent and i like it

woah, her threads are moving quickly. so to repeat myself Beauty is amazing and
deserved to be a single more than Swear. I think Swear is a nice change, but
... honestly I didn't have wish for to change her epic ballads into sweet songs.
I hope my life has epic ballads like Ashita e no sanka. I love how Beauty is so dreamy
and can't believe its not on the album.

And we have beautiful b-sides like sakura modern, kagome, namida and now beauty, maybe in a long future we get a b-sides compilation because all of them are amazing n_n

I didn't mean fail in chart positions. I meant fail as in all together song wise. BALLAD had nothing to redeem. Swear has something with the instrumentation going on there. Karen was right, Sophomore syndrome struck alan, and struck her hard.

All the Nov 4th singles/albums charted a day earlier than expected because of Japan's public holiday on Tue ie. Cultural Day so the unofficial 1st day sales for everyone are low

I think things will pick up today , I sure hope so :S
