IU debuted on September 24, 2008 with her first mini-album, Lost and Found in which she was praised by various Korean artists for her strong vocals. On April 16, 2009, IU returned with her first full album, titled Growing Up with her title song being, Boo, in which she started promotions for the album on the 17th. Within three weeks, Boo went up to the #1 contendants for SBS Inkigayo, and her names also went up twice on Take 7 together with other notable artists like SG Wannabe and YounHa. The song is also doing very well on KBS Music Bank K-Chart, on Mnet M!Countdown chart, and on various online music charts.

SHE IS FINALLY GOING TO BE IN A VARIETY SHOWWWWW!!! and she is one of the regulars too

SBS has finalized the cast list today and Bada has been ruled out of the equation. In her place is Narsha of the BEG and she joins Kahi, Seo In Young, Noh Sa Yeon, Hong Soo Ah, Lee Jin, Shin Bong Sun, IU, Yoo In Na, Nicole (KARA) and Jiyeon (T-ara), forming a formidable 12 female member cast. Noh Hong Chul and Lee Hwi Jae will also be part of the variety show.

The variety show is about the cast coming together to overcome various challenges as well as create a storyline that’ll keep viewers hooked.
Sounds pretty vague but it should become clear once it airs.

The first filming session will take place on July 5th and it will take the place of the outgoing Gold Miss, airing alongside Yoo Jae Suk’s Running Man from July 18th onwards in a brand new Good Sunday line-up.
