This Party Queen (see what I did there?) is one the most successful artists of ALL TIME in Japan. Despite announcing she’d gone deaf in one ear in 2008, she’s continued to pump out massive hits.

She’s also teamed up with Hello Kitty for a fashion line, she’s hosted T.V shows, she was in a cartoon.... Pretty much she can do all of the things.

This list is completely bizarre, I mean, look at No.1 which is Major Motoko Kusanagi from the Ghost in the Shell series, I love her, I admire her, she's extremely capable and cool, but as a role model? I can't imagine ORDINARY people learn very much from her seeing as she is a leader of an elite police division who excels in computer, hacking and combat. Intelligence and strength are not something to be LEARNED or there won't be anyone dumb and/or feeble. You learn attitude, methods, facts, etc. but certainly not intelligence and physical power.

Ayu is a great role model in certain aspects, mostly being that she's one hell of a hard worker who knows how to get it done. I love her honesty, too, which I think is very role-model behavior.
