Well, I've been kind of thinking that Ayu will lost her hearing of her left ear ever since I found out she can't hear well with it. It's sad, really. :< Well, at least she's not completely deaf yet and I believe Ayu can compromise with this fact very well. She's not going to give up that easily, just like she said. That's one of the things I love in Ayu, she's so stubborn. :3

wow this is shocking....there's til tons of hope for her though....Beethoven, one of the greatest composers of all time (if not THE greatest) was deaf in BOTH ears. Ayu is too strong to let this be a setback to her. She's gonna continue on and try even harder than she did before

I'm still a 'new' fan of hers so I didn't know she was already having problems in her left ear. I thought this was just a sick joke at first, but wow I guess not. She's truly strong and I really admire her for that.

I am so disappointed in guys especially my fellow ayu fans. Yall are going WAAAAAAAY overboard. Some of yall really need to take a break here. Go outside and just breath!

I read many of the post here and I can't believe how inconsiderate yall are. AYU HAS LOST HER HEARING IN ONE EAR AND YET YALL WANT HER TO CONTINUE TO HURT HERSELF! By her going deaf, this fate telling her to take a break. IMHO, Ayumi is being selfish and inconsiderate of herself and her fans. The doctors probably told her that she needs to take a break but Ayumi is being stubborn. I'm disappointed here. I WANT HER TO TAKE A BREAK! SHE NEEDS A BREAK! SHe is just straning herself.

It's a shame that all of this has happened before she turned 30 but life goes on. You guys need to gegt yourselves together and be a REAL ayu fan. Yall so called Ayu fans are pathetic adn unbelievable. I can't understand how yall want her to continue her career at this rate. Yall are very selfish fans. I supply can't like you guys bash UHPluas because he is STATING TRUTH. SHE NEEDS A BREAK. If anything, yall should be pissed at yourselves and not UHPlus!

She noticed there was stuff going on and she went to see the doctor, hoping he'd have good news. And instead he said that there was no hope of treatment.

That's so sad.

I feel really bad for her; I couldn't imagine being deaf at all. I remember her saying she was having problems in one of her ears a few years ago but I didn't really think it'd get this bad.

How is this pathetic? Because it doesn't fit your perception of good or bad? Ayu has already stated that music is practically her life and that she has grown to love her career probably more than anything else. If you watch her concerts you can see how happy she is when performing and she's not the kind to curl up home and live off her fortune she made for her career. Yall are the ones that are acting unsupportive. Common sense would tell them she needs a break. It would do us nor her any good if she goes completely deaf. I feel sad for her too but to a supportive fan, I must realize that my idol might doing too much. I'd hate for Hikki, BoA, and Namie to have the same situation but I know that in my heart that I don't want them to continue to hurt themselves. In all ten years of Ayumi's career, no once has she taken a relaxing break. For peak sake, Namie took a break because of what happened in her family. Hikki took a break because she was sick. Ayumi strained herself even though she might not have felt that way.

Everyone is getting mad at UHPlus because he simply said that she needs to take a break so that she want have another crappy performance. THAT'S THE TRUTH! You don't want your idol to sound like she's tipsy or whatever. Plus you guys are acting like the world has ended! LIFE GOES ON! I have more important things to worry about...I will keep ayu in my prayers but her problem is not our problem. What I'm trying to say there is, she is the one who has to go through it, not us. The only way for her to get better is for her to take a break.

@truehappiness: You are the one that looks dumb. You're the only who is b-tching about this whole situation. Stop tryin' to seem like a victim...ayu's the one who is suffering not you. I read all of your post and you seem like Ayu lost hearing in both ears. It's just one ear. I'm sure she can continue her career with hearing in one ear. Jeez!

@Cys86: If that what it takes than yes! Ayu is acting like we will forget about her. Ummm, hello! We can't! We have too much luv for her. Yall act like a break is a bad idea. I can't help but feel that most of you won't her to continue so that she can keep up with the girl who humps on bottles. Well, you can for get about that...her sales aren't reaching that far again...I'm talking about Ayu btw!
