The last time she mentioned the hiatus she made it seem as though it would only last for the duration of 2011, not the original 2-5 years. xD Assuming she'll resume activities in 2012, we're already 1/24 of the way through the hiatus!

For Utada it has as much interest as people go to a 9 to 5 job. And I find that so weird because most of the artists I listen to care deeply for their craft. I'm not saying she DOESN'T, only that she can be so casual about it strikes me as so strange. I hope she has a nice year off and comes back refreshed, so the fans can be happy

Um she already stated that she IS coming back for sure. Plus the new global contract doesn't hurt either....I don't think she would sign a contract and just turn her back on EMI. She's not that spiteful.

She has to do something....legally. We don't have to worry about that. What we do have to worry about regarding her laziness is whether that something will be something crappy or.....
