Favorite song that sadly had a bad PV?
I'm sure we all have a song that we love a lot by Ayu, but dislike the PV sadly. So name them out
 (sorry if this topic was made before. Close this thread if one was already made)Daybreak The arrangement and lyrics and vocals were great! The PV, not so great. Ayu is standing in a winding road singing to the camera. It was not interesting at all. ANGEL'S SONG Seriously Ayu, what happened? The PV was so cheesy and terrible. You can't help but giggle at the bad special effects xD rainy day This PV didn't have anything interesting happening in it either. I was expecting something more, dramatic xD glitter / fated I didn't really enjoy the whole story of it and all. It was interesting for a few minutes, but then just got really boring. NEXT LEVEL Such a great, beautiful song. Boring PV, at least some of the scenes are nice. Sparkle The 80's beginning thing was really cute. But then the latex was just so tacky and dumb looking. You can tell the director was forcing her to be sexy, but he was just trying too hard. HANABI ~episode II~ The PV just didn't have a central idea, it just wasn't going anywhere. JEWEL It got boring a minute and a half through. It was just tiresome and boring to watch Ayu bath in jewelry. I'll list more later, too lazy

usually, when songs are good, and they have a bad PV, it ruins the whole song for me! i start not liking the song as much..
I loved Sparkle, but liked it slightly less when i saw the PV. even though it was okay (dont)leave me alone decision evolution her old songs Bold & Delicious Is this LOVE? .. the pv was decent, but not as good as the song About You (idk again) Curtain Call NEXT LEVEL born to be...

thank you for the thread! i've been looking for a thread similar to this to pop up... because I want to add my 2 cents. XD
For me... the biggest disappointment is (don't) Leave me alone. The song sounds so epic! truly one of the better songs from Ayu. In my opinion, they should have done something like My Name's Woman, but MORE epic x100. (D)LMA had the perfect ups and downs for a great music video. the bridge was also excellent. gahhh. instead, she just had this bob haircut and cheesy suit/skirts and walked in a frosty looking building. it was awful!!! the outfits... YUCK. cheap and yuck. i'd be embarassed if the music video was played in public tbh... like people would go "so that's ayumi hamasaki? meh"

1) ANGEL'S SONG what's the link of the PV with the song ? I still don't get it at all 2) Daybreak 3) (don't) Leave me alone ugh so unfortunately low budget which sucks T_T 4) Born To Be ... too much light  5) Voyage 6) glitter/fated I don't really like PVs that have movie plots going on & that goes for Voyage & glitter/fated even though Shawn Yue's HOT xD 7) walking proud OK for this one , I still don't understand the video & the concept to it . What's up with everything ? o_O 8) HANABI ~episode II~ it's too erm dark & plain

Sometimes a music video is just a music video, meant to showcase a song. Nothing more. It's just a matter of what you like and what you don't, I guess. The only PVs that bore the hell out of me are her summer song PVs, with the exception of fairyland since that was interesting. BLUE BIRD is my favorite Ayu summer song and I thought the PV was dull as hell. Beautiful camerawork and colors, but booooooooring. I'm sure people think I'm weird for that, but then again I think people who didn't like Endless sorrow are weird lol. How can you not like that PV? It's so good =( Same with Mirrorcle World. That ****'s all about the Singularity you guys~

Sparkle, agh, the song is awesome, but the PV is just cheap. Boo.
NEXT LEVEL and Pride, they could've done better than that, seriously. I wish she made a PV with storylines or at least some hidden message instead of walking around/driving around.

All Kazusoyshi Shimomura PVs which are:
- Mirrorcle World - GREEN - Sparkle Sadly, they are all great songs. Also, Born To Be... was ugh. The only decent scene was when Ayu and the children were doing that 'When I grow up, I want to be a...' talk.
