I'm really liking the preview for Pop Diva which is a relief since I'm still not really feeling the song yet.

MTE. Watching the PV with the song, it sounded better to me. Also it's in better quality, so that helped. I hope the song will grow on me like mold, but I'm just not really feeling the repetitiveness of the chorus.

I don't really get the AIW reference for the covers. I guess I see the clock since the white rabbit was always on time, and the floating tea cup like the tea party. But everything is just randomly there not having to do with anything of the book like the trumpet, the cakes, the fruit, and that weird floating white thing by her head.

^^ i don't think it's the items, per se, but rather, when Alice is falling down the rabbit's hole, there's a lot of random stuff just floating around. Desks, books, chairs, etc.

^^Alice in wonderland is so overrated. At least the first book is. They need to start referencing the second book! I doubt anyone would get the reference though. Especially if the cover was kumi in a boat, rowing, with a sheep dressed as an old woman. lol

It's written in Japanese on one of the official posts that it has something to do with "wonderland" so you can only assume it has something to do with Alice in wonderland, considering the items. Tea cup, cakes = Mad Hatter's tea party, clock = rabbit who's always late.

Trumpet is also the rabbit.

I believe that's also a chess piece falling down? And of course the books.

^ it says "Yume no Wonderland" (Dream Wonderland)

^^ haha personally I love both books I just don't like all the stuff that's becoming trendy. People with "eat me, drink me", "we're all mad here" etc. necklaces.. it's just too much. But Tim Burton did the movie [which means it will inevitably be sold in Hot Topic] and Johnny Depp was in it [which means thousands of girls will go see it and profess their love to him] and thus a trend is born. Haha. Perhaps I over simplified it

which using the item clues on the cover, it's an obvious reference to Alice in Wonderland, no?

^^^well I don't know japanese so excuse me for not understanding her post. D< If there is an english translation, I don't feel like going pages back to find out what it says.

Besides. It's not like it takes away the point that Alice in Wonderland has already been done to death. Although it looks kind of cool.

I hated that movie. Have you seen the dvd cover? It features Johnny depp on the front. The mad hatter isn't even the main character, but with the way he's portrayed on the cover and in the movie, you'd think he was more important than alice. Also I disliked how they combined both books. Now everyone that hasn't read them thinks the jabberwocky and tweedle dum/dee are in the first book, and that The red queen is an evil *****. She's actually a whole lot nicer than the queen of hearts. Also there is no battle in the book with the monster. The jabb is mentioned like..once in the entire book, it's just a poem. Also alice is a brunette who wears a yellow dress. No one can seem to get that down in movies either.

so anyway. I really like all the different "atmospheres" in pop diva...she looks good~

Everything about her just keeps getting better. It's amazing.

and yes. EW about Alice in Wonderland being trendy okay.

They could have at least made it like, cool Alice, like American McGee's Alice where he at least did something different with the story.

Tim Burton's is just...typical crap.

OT, but before Tim Burton's movie, Alice in Wonderland was still a popular concept. I thought that would be needless to say.

It'd be awesome if one of the PVs had an Alice theme to it *___*

(reads the past few pages) Wow, you guys are truly something else.

Anyway, the whole "Circus/Wonderland" theme is seriously becoming so cliche to me for some reason.

Yeah, like the movie was so stupid. I didn't even finish it because it was so boring and very badly written and had awful flow. I don't why everyone said it was so good, probably because of the CGI or they were all high. The books were definitely a lot better. The whole alice wonderland thing is sooooo 2003, if she wanted to be a original she should use a little mermaid theme or oliver twist theme. But i kid.
