The moment I saw the covers I thought of RnRC. I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to get attacked. But now that someone else has....

They're similar. I think if you fail to see any similarities, you're lying to yourself. But whatever haha. It's not like there's anything wrong with it. The union jack flag is everywhere right now in Japan. Like how the american flag was before it. Ayu just happened to do it before Kuu on an album cover.

I can guarantee that if Kuu's album was released before RnRC, everyone here would be saying Ayu's album looks like Kuu's. And would be saying how Ayu fans are crazy for not seeing anything similar.

(and I'm aware Ayu didn't invent the bob, hats, and flags. But thanks for reiterating it

They definitely resemble one another, but I'm sure Kuu wouldn't be so blatant as to copy it. The way these Jpop singers are so prolific just increases the chances of them doing the same thing. I don't really see it as a big deal.

^No way lol People are always talking crap about the koda cause they have nothing better to do except be threatened by other artists.

The only reason why they're similar is the hair and the flag...and the flag is because of the Alice theme and fashion trends.

Besides, everyone said Ayu pulled a Kuu when she did RnRC after Kuu did TRICK so...idk.

Personally, the similarities on the covers are like saying "oh look, they both have the color blue in them!"

It's like, so what. It's not a meaningful comparison. Now if you compared these covers to immi's ALICE covers, then you have something...cause they're the same theme and style lol

^I was thinking, probably, you know, cause she always has like cutesy dresses...but, I dont think she's had one that was like...blatant like Alice the way Ayu's was...

that tour segment always makes me O_o cause it had like, clowns and crap in it...but then she had the alice dress...yeah idk, whatever Ayu lol

you know, I really don't mind reading your posts here because as of late you've been really bearable when it comes to kuu, for example you haven't called her a **** in quite a while or trashed her OR her music, but now you're just doing this because someone made a negative comment about Ayu's music.

we get it, you don't like Kumi's "new" ballads or her pop songs, you think they're generic, etc. etc. but you really don't have to post that here because a lot of us admire them the way you admire Ayu's music.

So, I wasn't on here in early 2008... did we have people mentioning the similarities between their outfits on GUILTY and Kingdom and then have people totally go crazy because of it?

I hope she ditches that wig for the promo and keeps in her extensions like the PVs!!!

Well sorry for not ignoring it, I'll admit that you're probably right about that, but not everyone is like you.

When people make silly statements like "this album is GONNA BE ALBUM OF THE YEAR BETTER THAN RNRC!!!!!!!111111" then it's annoying. adding "imo" to the end of your statement can have a lot of impact.

I guess some people need to be more respectable with their opinions, and some others need to learn what an OPINION is.

I have no disrespect for kumi, but I'm definitely more critical of her than I am of ayu. But I have nothing against her! Believe it or not, I own quite a few Kumi CDs and DVDs too.

ANNNNND this will be the last time I justify my opinion on Kumi for any of you, so please take note.

Are you serious? When people make statements like that it should just be obvious that's their opinion and that's how they feel. No one is the authority on what's considered good and what isn't. imo should just be implied... imo.

Pop diva Koda Kumi just revealed information about her highly anticipated ninth album, “Dejavu”!

The album will go on sale March 2nd and will come in three editions: a limited CD+2DVD version, a CD+DVD version and a CD-only regular edition. The 2-disc special edition contains PVs and an exclusive recording of the singer’s “Dream music park Live,” which took place at Yokohama Stadium on July 3rd and 4th of last year.

Once the CD+2DVD version is sold out, the CD+DVD version (which contains only the PV disc) will go on sale. The CD itself features all her hit songs “Lollipop,” “Suki de, Suki de, Suki de,” “Anata Dake ga” and the “Crayon Shin-Chan” theme song “Hey Baby!” along with 11 new songs for a total of 15 tracks.

everyone is! That is the beauty of opinions and this forum, it's not a tyranny where you can only speak positive things. If I see someone say they dislike something and they're respectful about it, I don't attack them for it because that's just as lame as insulting an artist. Ayu is srs business to some people, but so is Kuu. These are our idols and ****.

But speaking from experience, when someone insults an artist here, someone insults Kuu, someone else does, Kuu stans attack back and the stan wars begin which results in warnings, butthurt people, other stuff that is a pain in the ass to read here. We've all done it.

wow I feel really enlightened thanks to my buddy Mary Jane. She helps make things so peaceful and make so much sense.
