Why do you dislike Bold&Delicious and Pride?

Hmm very strange-most of you only like B&D or Pride.
As I already said I love both and they are 2 of my favourites^^

Very brave of her. I mean, who would have thought, back in 2000 or so we'd see Ayu in the future singing "BOOOOLLLDDDD ANNNDDD DELLICCCIIIIOUSSS" on the back of a truck in NYC? Those looking for music of the past won't find it - she's no longer sad, and accepts herself for who she is now, and thats what I love most about this song.

I watched the PV of Pride around 100 times cause I love how she looks^^.
B&D? I also think she looks very pretty there^^

When I first listened to B&D in the Panasonic CM it sounded like "Ahhh lecker lecker" (engl. =Tasty)^^.

I've loved B&D since I first heard the preview on her site. But Pride... took me a while to get used to. Although now I like it! ^__^

I LOVE both songs...

B&D was fun and strong...The Lives made it more powerful and fun and WOW(owowo)

Pride was a powerful song sang by Ayu...

The PVs had contrast (light and dark)..and the AYu in Pride was so pretty...just so dark and whew!

and Pride,,It's really emotional and sad~the lyric is awesome and ayu performed it well~
But i understand why people dislike it because when you are not willing to fall into it,,you will find the song annoying~

I like both. Pride is actually one of my favorite Ayu songs. But anyways, B&D can take people by surprise sometimes, especially if it's the BOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD ANDDDD DELICIOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS part. I remember the first time I heard that I was taken by surprise because it was sudden and it was loud and I was like O____________O. But it grew on me.

But music isn't necessarily about "fun," unless, of course, it works (ie Hellogoodbye), which B&D most certainly does not. The song is completely obnoxious (how some of you "got used to it" is a tad hard for me to believe) and the music video is even worse! Low budget, Ayumi? Shame.
You wonder what's wrong with Pride? Oh dear. It's boring, depressing, and pretty much makes me want to stab myself. And the lyrics are sad! Not sad as in "boo hoo," but sad as in "Wow, that's kind of horrible." It's like she put together random lines at the last minute, just for the sake of making a new song. Ew.
Let's just say, for lack of better words, both are crap.

I don't dislike either song, I adore them both, and always have, I sing pride in the shower and my sister always teases me and says my Japanese is better than my english even though i can only sing japanese, not speak it.

B&D was suck at first-hear. Something that my mother hates & my father could crash the car if I put (m)u CD on my car's JVC Audio Player. But after listening it for quite awhile, it gets addicting.

However, Pride is a mediocre.

B&D is fun when i'm in the mood, the ya ga da stuff is odd, but i thought it was funny and "bold" so it was alright to have in the song, i think her voice sounds kinda like she's singing more R&B strong, not the way she usually does, same with Pride. i love the sogn Pride thugh, it's awesome, not my favorite btu i liked it. The video didn't need to be super interesting i thought, the video fit the song i thought.

Why is it hard to believe that people get used to songs? I didn't really care for Beautiful Fighters at first. To me, it just seemed like she repeated the chorus five million times...and there was too much...something, i don't know, and I really loved BLUE BIRD.
but now, i LOVE Beautiful Fighters. It's so fun...it makes me want to dance like her in the PV...and the chorus is ALWAYS in my head...

It is quite easy to understand why people dislike Bold and Delicious. For Pride, I think, it is a different kind of understanding. For me, everything that has been said about Pride, it's boring, depressing, bland...etc...is sort of true. But that is some of the very essence of the song. Why would Ayu, someone known for songs like Surreal, Trauma, evolution, and so on, make a song like this? Was it not her? Is she just following whatever they tell her? I do not think so.

Pride is so different that it is amazing.

I think that it is possible that maybe avex was "afraid" with these two songs...because of their style, they wouldn't be well recieved. It could explain the videos being whatever they are. Or maybe Ayu just loves New York that much...she said herself that it was different than anything she ever knew in Japan. I can understand how someone like her, who grew up in a disfunctional family in a conformist society could love a "disorderly and liberal" place like New York.

B&D is certainly not one of my favorite Ayumi songs, but it's not bad. I like both B&D and Pride.

I was freaked out by it when I heard it for the first time, too. I asked myself, "Is this an Ayumi song? o_O" But I liked Pride when I heard it for the first time.

I love Bold & Delicious/Pride! One of my favourite singles!

Bold & Delicious is just so fun and refreshing. Admittedly, I hated the song at first, but after the intial shcok it really grew on me. I absolutely adore Ayu's vocals in the song. Somehow, Ayu can make high-pitched screaching sound appealing. One of my favourite pop songs by Ayu. Also, I always seem to love the lyrics to Ayu's super teeny bopper songs like B&D and INSPIRE. They are always deceptively simple and have a lot more substance to them than they seem to have. This is a song you either love or hate, and I'm glad I love it.

Pride is absolutley gorgeous. It's like the ultimate power ballad. I love the juxtaposition of Ayu's subtle, careful singing during the verses that contrast sharply with her oversung and showy vocals during the course. The haunting children's choir heard during the song, the poignant lyrics, superb vocals and the beautiful arrangment all make this song truly special. One of Ayu's most memorable ballads (whether you like it or not)

Um, when I first heard the preview of B&D on ayu's site, it freaked the hell out of me because it was really something I personally was not expecting. When I heard the full version, I thought it was okay but not the best. Pride was okay but the song had no power to stay as a favourite for long, just like B&D.

i feel that there is certainly more than jus a funny song for Bold & Delicious. i mean. i can see that ayu likes that song a lot and performed it A LOT of times. i think Bold & Delicious in arena tour 2006 may change some of you guys mind?? cos i think that performance was powerful!
