Um I was just wondering, since this tune seems to be used all over, perhaps it's really some sort of folk tune or an old gospel that no one has copyrights to anymore? If anyone owned the melody there would've probably have been claims.

Wow, GEO has stolen alot of stuff...
With this, and is it just me, or does Beautiful Day remind you so much of "Cool" by Gwen Stefani? In parts. They came out at around the same time, though no one else mentioned it

lol I thought this was old news. I can't stand GEO anyways, so meh. I'd be more upset if Ayu herself had stolen the song =P Crucified apparently was pretty popular back in like 1991 haha. I know that GEO is Western (probably European?) and the song Crucified was a huge hit in Europe. I doubt it's a coincidence that the songs sound very similar.

According to my dad, B&D sounds exactly like a soul/funk song from the 60's. Something with "lady" in the title, I don't know. I'll find out.

i didnt find it all that similar? its just creepy organ-y piano-y music to me, lol. and i totally have the song "crucify" hahaha! once i played the venezuelan thing, i was like "hey thats crucify!!"--not "hey thats pride!" haha i didnt really think it sounded like pride at all...meh

Well i think, that old latin song is most similar to pride than CRUCIFY
the chorus is just Identical....Crusificy has some differents chords

wow, it is like Pride. Okay..and?
we heard this before. I still like and respect Ayu's version, or excuse me, GEO's version a lot more. It sounds about a million times more powerful, and just better in general. Kudos to him for taking a very lackluster song and making it near perfect.
