yea at least Mr. Children will stay at no.1 for the rest of this year(hopefully)~Anyway i'm wondering whether are they any other artists that can beat them...perhaps johnnys?NEWS etc?lolx~

Hikki is still selling really well (see the Ultra Blue sales that outsell (miss)understood and the Flavor of Life single), but UTADA not as well, since her songs are more dedicated for the USA market than the Japanese one =)
I do think HOME has good chances to stay #1, even with a Johnny's release!

They are really popular I guess, but not like hitting to the top of the sky (such as kuu during last two years, or ayu+hikki during 2000 - 2002). I mean, they have a status in jpn music industry (just like B'z). Their albums sales don't fluctuate as much as the other acts (such as ayu, kuu, etc..). I guess their hardcore fans are the mature ones who buy physical cds instead of mp3s, and they are one of the artists who have enough status to avoid release cds with major competitors. That is why you never see their singles/albums beaten by other artists these days.

bluegie; there has been talk about utada releasing a new english album. it hasnt been confirmed yet, though. Utada and her record label talked about it .. but have yet to make up their minds,..
