Dude, Madonna copies all the time (club culture, Japanese culture, Spanish culture, Ayu, etc.), and repackages it all to fit her persona. That's the genius of her image. Pure pop.
By the way, have a lot of people here been abducted and mindswiped by aliens? These covers are so frigging awesome, they're the most frigging awesome covers ever! How more awesome can they get? And that skirt is just uber-haute-couture-fabulous. I guess the fashion-forward is always misunderstood.
