Haha, I didn't even know that the Northern Breeze Mix was a rerecording since it was an entirely different mix (and one I'm not particularly a fan of either). I hope the arrangement isn't too different in this rerecording because I want it to be similar to the original YOU that I love so much, just with more of a modern Ayu twist.

I ADORE the original YOU as well..

I think they could add some more orchestral elements and make it more EPIC-SOUNDING. I dunno..

Her voice is so much heavier now than it was back then... it'll be weird to hear it. :O [it was so soft and light back then..]

I wonder if the song's arrangement will be lightly altered or completely altered though.. [see Ladies Night and the ~another night~ version]..

Relistening to YOU -northern breeze- it's like.. way too synthy. XD I hope they don't do this again.. DX

That's exactly what I would like to hear in this rerecording. More orchestral elements and such would definitely add to the impact, so long as it isn't overdone. And yeah, with how much deeper her voice is, it will certainly be interesting to hear, since YOU is one of her highest songs.

It's kinda... the same as the AT07 thing.

It's a "gorgeous portrait" slipcase. or something.

It'll be a DVD-ish case from what we can see on the official site. [of course, I don't think that Japanese actually means "longer case"... it's just that the NOW PRINTING image was long.. so.. yeah. XD]

Well they wanted to put in something "extra" to celebrate her anniversary so I'm guessing they chose those two because they're her favourites or they reflect how she feels right now.

She's putting time into rerecording stuff probably because she wants to resing them as "gifts" to the fans? :/ [FYI, YOU has been rerecorded once for a ballads compilation and Depend on you as well for A BEST... but she's in a different place with her voice now compared to in 2001/2003]

I mean, she's resung ASFXX who knows how many times and it's been amazing each time :]

She probably was faced with a decision of narrowing down her 5[?] debut singles and choosing two to rerecord. Trust and For My Dear... tbh aren't as big of hits as we might think they are, and poker face would've been expected..

I dunno, I simply expected her to rerecord SOMETHING, and she seems like she is going to.

My release schedule that I predicted has come true btw. XD

AT07 -> remix albums -> new single [and then analogs]~ D!

She's releasing along with ZARD [a day before though]~ so she'll have an extra day of sales. Hopefully she can get 100k first week. :]
