@prus: o.O Don't ask me, I'm just fixing it up into proper English (or trying to do so anyway). XD

Seems like there's some hostility here when it should be a joyful environment.. o_o;

The translation's okay. Though there are some parts that should be edited for clarity.

Wow!~ Many thanks to prussianblue, alternarist and leo_nardez for this! Good to know I haven't been misunderstanding the script booklet! I'd also like to share some comments on what Melrose pointed out in post 103 on page 6:

Well, I can't speak for the British, but in the US 'high' is also now commonly used to mean very happy. I guess it sort of graduated from drug junkie lingo to mainstream English.

The use of flavour here is strictly figurative. Nothing to do with taste, but more of feeling, as alternarist has already said.

I personally believe the former, as in the bridge can be done, but not without being too fast to fit well with the rest of the performance, hence 'too rushed'.

Well, a verb is all that is needed to make a complete sentence, but I would agree that 'It is hoped that…' fits the narrative more.

I just don't really get this part. Resisting what? XD Wrong verb translated?
I think you do understand it. As you rightly pointed out, it should have been 'I have been doing' instead of 'I do.' The verb is right there, just in the wrong tense.

There is actually nothing grammatically wrong with 'I myself am confused'. However, not many people phrase it like this. They usually say, 'Even I'm confused'.

I feel Ayu was talking about Asia. I would have translated it as, 'If you were to ask me if Asia is really one now, I wouldn't be able to tell. But my wish for it to become one will never change. Asia is one!

Hope you understand better now, Melrose! It may surprise you, but we do speak English in Asia! Non-Asians take a while to learn our native tongues, if at all. Still, don't expect the Queen's English here—we gained independence from colonial rule a long time ago, ha ha!

Lol... so much drama over perfect English.
Let's put it this way, if you're not happy, don't read it.
If you can translate it better, please learn Japanese first then translate into perfect English. Otherwise, this is unnecessary to such a fuss.
by the way "too rush" is a colloquial use of English. It's almost like slang.
Too bad you don't understand it, Melrose.

I think pressing Ctrl + F while in edit mode and typing the phrases you want to change into the Find field should work. You might want to be as specific as possible ie type as complete a phrase or sentence as possible so that you get to the correct part of the post right away. Maybe have the original post open for normal viewing in another browser tab or window then copy and paste as needed. Hope this helps, and thanks again for editing!

alternarist, prussian_blue and also Leo translated the MANDARIN version ( NOT JAPANESE version) of this AT07 documentary into english and they based on the MANDARIN characters to translate it, so some of the translations may not be 100% correct because MANDARIN and JAPANESE can't be exactly in the same meaning!!!
but at least, we can still understand what the documentary is all about..

if you want to know what's exactly the meaning of this documentary, then ask someone who has fluent Japanese and ask him/her to listen to all what Ayu and the people on the documentary said and made the translation into english~ then, i guess you'll get the good, perfect and brilliant english

so don't blame on those 3 up there who have been working so hard to help you guys to make the translation~
