Well, they don't really care.

The single was a one track single + instrumental, and was released for fun I think. I don't think they expected to do so well, but they did.

They have thousands of comments [in total, MILLIONS] in their blogs combined... with each entry totalling in at like 10000 comments each.. it's pretty insane.

^Yea

I don't think the boyband cares too much, I bet the main reason they sold/sell so much was because of the whole thing behind it, like it wasn't so much of a serious single xD

This is superb news.. So happy for Ayu, she totally deserved all these.. I hope she will continue to make good music in the coming years..=) Wonder will she arrange for more live performances of mirrorcle world/life to celebrate this success of the single? it's kinda weird she didn't perform on music station..

I think what she achieved here is a really really hard thing to do.
In other times, there was not that much competition and the genre of music was limited. It was much easier to get a number 1 in Siko matsuda's time
The fact that she beat her has proven the title queen of Ayu.
I hope she will keep it up like that

I'm sp happy for her. AND we'll have to remember that Mirrorcle world actually is kind of a re-realease since it was featured on the album I don't know how we should look at it but the fact that this single was a little bit ''old'' I think it just make this number one better, that it can beat out a new song! Man, I'm sounding very negative but it's not intended haha but anyway CONGRATZ!

This is the 10th anniversary single, her 30th #1 single, the one that sets the record of 10 years with at least one #1 single each year, the kinda re-cut song that beat the others anyway~

It's such a special release! I'm so so so happy!
