The tissue dance is done by the lady that initially taught everyone. Her name is KAERU-chan, but she has a real name that Ayu doesn't really use.

90% is the number that the NTV SUPER TV interview gave us.

I realised that the dancers were supposed to wear hoodies and capes for RAINBOW in the making. Wonder why they had to cancel it off! Would've looked cooler to me.

I dunno, that's what people seemed to feel like about the DVD..
Yeah AT07 just seemed really polished at times. I couldn't tell what I was looking at when I saw the until that Day performance. I mean it was hot, best performance of the show other than kiss o'kill, but the vocals seemed so polished. I was speculating either DVD editing or it was lip-synched. Still a terrific performance, but her vocal performance of the song in CDL 06-07 was better. And yeah whats up with the sound in the background being heavily edited?! I love hearing the cheers of the audience in her concerts, kinda why I loved AT06 so much.

Hide is gone. They say hes switched and joined Namie Amuro's team but I can't confirm that cuz I don't keep up with every live performance of Namie.

I'll comment on the DVD once I take a look at it. Couldn't put the concert on my PSP before I left for work today. Shucks

I think Hide worked with Namie previously, and switched off between her and Ayu up until last year after AT07, where he left permanently for Namie.

So far HIDE has gone to Namie and Naoto went to Maki Goto [and is now part of J-Soul Brothers]~

Ayu seems to give a lot of these male dancers their head starts..

He may have just had different interests. His last appearance was AT07, maybe after trying it out he figured the travel was too much for him.

Naoto is really young and talented. It sucks not to see him in Ayus concerts anymore, but he still has a long way to go in the business and its great that he takes the opportunity when it presents itself to him. Though I still think Goto Maki was a HUGE downgrade. If it was first Ayu team then J Soul Brothers it'd be acceptable hehe

Well, Namie did her PLAY TOUR with Hide as part of the staff, and also did the Asia-wide PLAY MORE segment of the tour with him too, so it's probably not the travel at all.

I really enjoyed CDL 07-08. I felt sad for ayu during the surreal performance because her pitch was off throughout the whole time and it was probably her ear that was causing it...and when she became emotional during MY ALL, it seems she didn't want the countdown to end or she was overwhelmed by how long her fans have stayed with her music and she probably was thinking about the new year being the start of her 10th anniversary... at that point i was so happy for Ayu that i also cried a little ...

I hate how they dubbed the fated/together when vocals.
IT WAS FINE!!
the imperfection in the tv verson made the songs so beautiful! it was so emotional.
they have to kill it.
with that said, i love what they did for desicion.
and they actually made surreal sound comfortable.
and guys, desision part is from the first night. she stomped out of the back stage where on the tv verson , she rised up.

I believe she sang GUILTY on the first night and replaced it with decision on the final night.

I remember being awake typing the setlist for the first day..

Someone mistook decision as GUILTY. It was later corrected.

Also. The TV version that I am watching right now remains zoomed out as Ayu comes on stage for decision. They do not show her rising from the floor, so I assume that she originally walked out from the backstage curtain.

Ah ok. Yea I just watched it too, you can't really see how she gets on stage.

Since when? At first ppl assumed tinnitus, at least the posts I read. I've never even read "Meniere's"

Tinnitus is a symptom of Meniere's. It is not a disease in and of itself.

Meniere's fits all the pieces together.
Quote:
* Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo (the abnormal sensation of movement) or dizziness. - possible reasoning for her falling during DOME TOUR 2001
* Fluctuating, progressive, unilateral (in one ear) or bilateral (in both ears) hearing loss, often initially in the lower frequency ranges. - possible cause for her unilateral hearing loss
* Unilateral or bilateral tinnitus (the perception of noises, often ringing, roaring, or whooshing), sometimes variable. - hearing of a noise in her ear during rehearsals
* A sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears. - I don't remember if this was described in her NTV interview

Sufferers whose Ménière's began with one or two of the classic symptoms may develop others with time. Attacks of vertigo can become worse and more frequent over time, resulting in loss of employment, loss of the ability to drive, and inability to travel. Some patients become largely housebound. Hearing loss can become more profound and may become permanent. Some patients become deaf in the affected ear. Tinnitus can also worsen over time. Some patients with unilateral symptoms, as many as fifty percent by some estimates, will develop symptoms in both ears. Some of these will become totally deaf.
ImpactBreaker [a doctor] mentioned it quite a few times in the initial thread that had the news..

And a Mainichi News article also mentioned it around that time. Perhaps you weren't reading the threads closely enough? @_@

Like I said, from the posts I read and that wasnt all of it But I do remember it correctly then, as its part of Meniere's so its not wrong ^^ Thx for the Wiki stuffs

BTW how can one concert (Dome tour) remove 90% of her hearing (left/right ear, I kinda forgot which one it is XD)? WTF?! Why didnt this happen to the people at the dome? o____O Though it was said in an interview like you said I have serious trouble believing this lol.

Edit: Reading that wiki description of Meniere's makes me kinda scared for Ayu X___x I REALLY hope her other ear (w/e the healthy one is) isnt affected later....BTW, did her fall at Dome's Tour get recorded (in a Making Of, the DVD itself, etc.)? Maybe YouTube or some JP fan camera? Or did this just happen when no one recorded it at one of the gigs? o_o I remember reading it somewhere before lol... But I never watched Dome Tour because its so incredibly cheesy (the Endless Sorrow perf just completely ruins the song for me lol and the choreography/costumes for the other songs like the English marching men are hideous IMO).

It happened to Ayu seemingly not because of how loud the concert was, but because she had some sort of other condition that caused the hearing loss.

ImpactBreaker could explain it a whole lot better than I though. He knows all the terminology and such.

The NTV Super Interview doesn't show the "actual" fall, but it does record footage of the reaction when Ayu fell and the staff was crowded around her trying to help her out, and how she was taken to the hospital after.

I just got done watching the concert and I thought it was absolutely FANTASTIC! Probably the BEST CDL in my opinion. A lot of effort went into this one (as does everything Ayu does) and I really think it was just beautiful. The song selection was genious and flowed perfectly. I hold this concert to the same level as her tours actually. It had such a warm feeling to it.

God I love Ayu.
