Ayu sure has her magic~ Her songs have made me cry numerous times. And when I watch her new material, I just sorta sit still for a long time in a space that is completely my own concentrating. The time that it really got to me was during the CDL 06-07 Boys & Girls. It was actually the first Boys & Girls performance I watched, and I was completely captured when I saw the water burst out on the stage and Ayu start singing. Then she yells, and the audience joins in. The interaction amazed me. The sheer force and power of the performance was just... so completely Ayu and brilliant.

You should find the ARENA TOUR 2005 performance of that --- it's the first time she used those effects and was actually 100% better than the CDL version if you can believe that.

Indeed, there's something about Ayu that makes my heart beat super fast whenever I watch her perform...

Sorry being a little off topic here but it's not only her performing, listening to her songs make me feel all fuzzy and weird inside... something that I rarely feel from other singers (besides the classical music that I myself play) and... there's something about her lyrics that strike me. You see them as so ordinary, so everyday, yet there's something significant and striking about these lyrics...

ayu has a special place in our hearts ^^, i have been listening to ayu non-stop this year...but if one day i get tired of ayu, i should just listen to evolution, it's the one song that you just can't get tired of

I don't think I'll ever get tired of ayu. Sometimes I do a marathon watching all her CM's in chronological order, then to PV's and last but not least the discography. Since it's so much thing I barely have the time to focus that much time to any other artists which are a load of them but she is the only one that makes me tick
