i'm more curious...now that ayu is single, could she be gong out with shuya? or like a couple of dates.....or that ayu has a crush on him.

the both of them are really close and ayu is known for using her friends for her work, seeing shuyas more and more involvement in ayu's work really make me wonder.

On the Kabblah thing - it's a Jewish mysticism religion.

Ayu has never identified with a specific religion, however it can be thought that she follows Shinto as the vast majority of Japanese follow the its traditions - even if they formally identify as atheists.

I think the red string might be linked to the way people tie red strings to help them remember things - you see it in anime shows a lot where characters tie strings for memories. She might have worn it for remembering 10 years of work? It would be nice to think so but I don't think we'll ever know

I dunno about the Shuya thing, it sure seems like they've got something above a professional relationship!

If there's really something, then she must really keep a crush then. Because if their relationship is made open, then I doubt Shu-ya can continue as her dancer anymore... it's a professional thing to do, I think.

Yes, I thought of that too,, the thing with shuya is just for the stage act,,

If I'm not mistaken, when photos of 'the party' (where ayu came with shuya) appeared, people were asking a lot about whether they're dating or not,, then ayu's response was, 'I'm not dating with Shu~!'

Hmms, yeah, and probably, she's holding on to shuya also, that's why alot of people are asking... I was also kinda suspecting when shuya actually held her waist in the pub....

The FUNNIEST thing is, if it's REALLY for stage act, everything should be done on stage.

But for something like the party... she still uses Shu-ya as her escort/partner. It's REALLLYYYYYY suspicious!!!

well...in 2004 he confessed that he was gay on his old blog (he had a boyfriend) Around the same time the avex scandal issue was in the spotlights. So, no...he's definitely not dating Ayu xD They are probably just close friends ^^ She has nothing to fear, if you understand what i mean

Yeah, I also agree. I high doubt that Shuya and Ayu have a relationship beyond what it shows on stage. If anything, those two remind me of myself and one of my best friends. We don't perform as couples on stage, but we're good friends and "connect" well on stage, you know?

Blah, I hate the whole Shuya x Ayu thing. It's all just a bunch of hooplah.

they could just be really good friends. i know alot of gay men are really close and "romatic" appearing to their girl friends. it could be the same with Ayu and Shu. :]

I agree. Me and my friend (who's gay) are always holding each other and we exchange kisses when we see each other, but we don't go out.

yup. :] i actually forgot that Shuya was gay but it explains alot. they're probably just really close friends which is perfectly fine. i don't think it would go farther than that because if i was Nagase when they were together i would go into a jealous rage if Ayu was doing her intimate stage performances with (a straight) Shuya.

maybe that's why he's the main male dancer?
