^That's bad for her 2nd day, but I have a feeling it'll pick up, it's a really good album!

In Japan, you rarely see the sales of old releases rise You can only hope that the album will have consistent sales and that it won't drop too much.

Yeah but this album is obviously an exception, since promotion hasn't even started yet. This is not a Japanese album, and therefor doesn't follow the normal strategy: Single - Single - (Single) - Lots of promotion - Album release.

This one will be: Album release - lots of promotion - single (-single)

(I don't consider Come Back To Me a single, more like an album preview lol)

Uhm even though it's not a Japanese album, the Japanese market simply works that way~ the promotion in the future will only help it sell steadily it most likely won't sky rocket all of sudden especially cuz it's not a Japanese album + keep in mind that the next 2 weeks are full of Japanese releases, people have other things to buy that will actually have real promotion

that's exactly the point I was trying to make, so I agree with you

About other things to buy, it doesn't necessarily have to mean low sales for Hikki, since A Best & Distance both sold like 4 million. I know, different era, different setting, but I'm just trying to keep positive thinking!

Yeah Celaphorce omg I can't believe you didn't know that yet with all your time here at AHS and with all the artists you listen to! GOSH!

I'm currently boggled.

anyway @Kolongi: well I think it's more WE HOPE she's going to promote She does have mags coming out with interviews and stuff...If she doesn't plan to do anything else...maybe that'll be enough?

And if the album does okay in the states, and she gets some recognition...then I think that would definitely help sales in Japan as well.

As everyone has said, this is not a typical Japanese release.

Oh well, let's see what happens.
