STYLE and PLAY for me.
I own all of her albums (Toshiba-EMI and SUITE CHIC included) and while each one has it's own unique appeal, it's these two that really stand out for me. I feel that STYLE is a strong album because it's a transition album and has a good variety of sounds. I love PLAY because it sounds very progressive to me. Instead of making an album that perfectly mimics US R&B, Namie and her producers contribute new ideas to the genre - notably with "Violet Sauce (Spicy)" and "Pink Key."
